Job Title: QA Engineer,

About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled QA Engineer responsible for designing and executing automated and manual tests to ensure the functionality, performance, and reliability of web and mobile applications. The QA Engineer will collaborate closely with development and cross-functional teams to maintain high-quality software throughout the development lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities:

• Review and analyze system specifications and requirements.
• Design, create, and execute test cases (manual and automated).
• Perform API testing and mobile application testing.
• Conduct performance testing, including load testing and cross-browser testing.
• Ensure comprehensive coverage of functional and non-functional testing.
• Evaluate product code against specifications to identify defects.
• Document testing phases, results, and defects through detailed logs.
• Report bugs and collaborate with development teams for resolution.
• Assist in troubleshooting and post-release/post-implementation testing.
• Create large datasets for performance and load testing.
• Gather performance testing requirements and develop test plans.
• Collaborate with testing and development teams to ensure product quality.
• Write and maintain documentation for automated testing processes, including test plans, procedures, and test cases.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a QA Engineer or similar role.
• Strong knowledge of QA methodologies, project management, and Agile frameworks.
• Experience with regression testing and automated testing tools.
• Proficiency in API testing, mobile testing, and performance testing.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and attention-to-detail skills.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively.

Education & Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience working as a QA Engineer within a Scrum/Agile environment

Key Responsibilities:

Execute manual test cases based on project requirements.

Identify, log, and track software defects using tools like JIRA or Bugzilla.

Assist in preparing test plans, test scenarios, and test data.

Work closely with developers and Project Manager to reproduce and resolve issues.

Perform functional, regression, and smoke testing.

Support the QA team in maintaining testing documentation and reports.

Learn and gradually contribute to automation testing (if applicable).

Required Skills and Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field.

1–2 years of experience in software testing .

Basic understanding of SDLC, STLC, and software testing concepts.

Familiarity with bug tracking tools (e.g., JIRA) and test management tools.

Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.

Good written and verbal communication.

Nice-to-Have (Preferred):

Exposure to automation tools like Selenium or Postman.

Knowledge of SQL and database queries.

Understanding of Agile / Scrum methodologies.

ISTQB Foundation certification or equivalent is a plus.
