Overview

Database administrator (DBA) will be the performance, integrity and security of a database. You'll be involved in the planning and development of the database, as well as in troubleshooting any issues on behalf of the users.

Job Responsibilities:

• Monitoring system performance and identifying problems that arise.
• Install and maintain the performance of database servers.
• Develop processes for optimizing database security.
• Set and maintain database standards.
• Install, tune, implement and upgrade DBMS installations
• Write and deploy MYSQL patches
• Upgrade and improve application schema and data upgrades
• Manage database access.
• Performance tuning of database systems.
• Install, upgrade, and manage database applications.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot database errors.
• Recommend and implement emerging database technologies.
• Create and manage database reports, visualizations, and dashboards.
• Create automation for repeating database tasks.
• Be available for on-call support as needed.

Skills Required:

• A minimum of 3 years' experience as a database administrator.
• Strong and Proficiency in data manipulation languages, including MS SQL,
• Advanced knowledge of database security, backup and recovery, and performance monitoring standards
• Understanding of relational and dimensional data modelling
• Strong mathematical and statistical knowledge
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Impeccable attention to detail

Roles and Responsibilities
● Creating and maintaining database standards and policies
● Supporting database design, creation, and testing activities
● Managing the database availability and performance, including incident and problem
management
● Administering database objects to achieve optimum utilization
● Defining and implementing event triggers that will alert on potential database
performance or integrity issues
● Performing database housekeeping, such as tuning, indexing, etc.
● Monitoring usage, transaction volumes, response times, concurrency levels, etc.

Prerequisites
● Should have 2-4 years of experience
● Have an IT, computer science, or engineering educational background

Roles & Responsibilities: • Migrate AWS services across regions • Deploy, manage, and operate systems on AWS • Implement and control the flow of data to and from AWS • Select the appropriate AWS service based on compute, data, or security requirements • Identify appropriate use of AWS operational best practices • Estimate AWS usage costs and identify operational cost control mechanisms • Migrate on-premises workloads to AWS Requirements: • Minimum 2-5 years experience of cloud administration. • Hands-on experience with ability to work independently without supervision • Solid knowledge of AWS ecosystem (EC2, S3, Route 53, Redis, RDS, etc.) • Candidates having AWS SysOps Administrator Certification will be preferred

- Manage and support of the SQL Server Databases, routine tasks in support of Senior SQL Database administrators.SQL DBA will possess the following experience :- Production Activities- Ensure active and effective backup policies in place.- Monitor system for performance and load issues.- Apply system patches as appropriate.- Manage execution of application patches and ensure rollback strategy is in place.- Performance monitor system for slowest queries and provide regular report to development team.- Profile T-SQL and fine-tune queries through hints, application of keys or restructuring of query.- Plan for future scale and performance needs based upon historical data and projected system growth.- Resolving database maintenance and corruption issues.- General Trouble-shoot issues in all environments as and when needed.- Build automation scripts for DB maintenance using a scripting language such as PowerShell, VBScriptSkills Required and Responsibilities :- 7+ years- of experience in SQL Server Database administration/development.- Support daily DBA activities including maintenance operations not limited to Backups, Restores & Index rebuilds.- Ability to support Always on( FCI and AG) for HA and Log Shipping, Mirroring for DR in SQL Server 2012/2014 .- In-depth knowledge of Windows Operating system & Storage internals.- Support database related security and audit all database events in DBA ticketing system.- Should have good knowledge in SQL Server DMV- s, DMF's and system catalog views.- Proficient in writing T-SQL scripts for SQL Server automation and scheduling jobs through SQL Agent- Troubleshooting SQL Server with tools like SQL Server extended events, SQL Profiler, Database tuning advisor for any major application issues.- Support SQL Server Integration Services jobs and work with teams related to any issues.- Recommending & Implementing Microsoft Best practices in environment.- Microsoft certified professional is plus.
