Job description for Production Engineer

Production Engineer manages shifts, production supervisors and all operators &

ensures smooth running of the production process, organising & monitoring work-

flow.

Roles & Responsibilities:

 Completes production plan by scheduling and assigning personnel;

accomplishing work results; establishing priorities; monitoring progress;

revising schedules; resolving problems; reporting results of the shift

production summaries;

 Supervising the manufacturing processes, ensuring quality work is done in a

safe, efficient manner;

 Diagnosing problems in the production line and providing solutions;

 Ensures that all products are produced as per Customer's specifications;

 Ensures targets and deadlines are met as per Work Orders;

 Attending to minor breakdowns of machines;

 To maintain all Company machines/equipment so as to obtain optimal

performance; evaluate new equipment and techniques;

 Ensures all operators & contract staffs comply with health & safety

procedures;

 Manage, develop, and motivate direct reporting employees;

 Monitor, measure, and report on production-related process performance, and

general issues; update daily production reports;

 Use Problem-solving and troubleshooting skills to ensure that all employees

can identify root causes and take fast corrective and preventive action to

resolve the problems at hand;

 Keeping abreast of advancements in engineering and production, and sharing

knowledge with co-workers.

 Identifying, documenting, and reporting unsafe practices.

 To work closely with other production supervisors to ensure production

handovers are smooth & effective;

 To provide on-the-job training for improving production efficiency & quality;

 Maintain 5S standards to ensure a clean & safe workplace;

 Coordinates with PPC, Engineering, Sales & Marketing, Purchase, Stores,

Logistics, Accounts;

 Maintain records/reports as per ISO & IATF requirements;

 Work non-traditional hours on weekends and holidays during exigencies;

 Any other task assigned by management;

 Reporting to AGM-Operations

Key Result Areas/KRAs (annual evaluation across entire Company) for

Production Supervisors:

 To take full responsibility of the shift in terms of management of operators,

contract employees, production supervisors and achieving production targets;

 To take full responsibility for the quality and product that is produced within

the shift in line with the quality systems, processes, and procedures;

 To have an active role in the continuous improvement plan.

Key Performance Indicators/KPIs (monthly evaluation) for Production

Engineer:

1. On-time Delivery of WOs = % (Target: 98%)

2. Worst Point Photography (WPP)

3. Fixed Point Photography (FPP)

4. Labour Productivity = Units Produced/Man-hours used = ……Units per man-

hour

5. Production Charts

Hands-on experience in C#, http://asp.net/" target="_blank">ASP.NET, MVC, Web API, SQL Server.

·       Experience in latest .Net framework versions (4/4.5/.Net Core 2.0 Frameworks), SQL Server 2008/2012.

·       Experience in OOPS, HTML5, Bootstrap,CSS, AJAX/ JavaScript/ JQuery/ AngularJS and Angular 2.0 and web development.

·       Excellent communication, analytical and interpersonal skills.

·       .NET Full Stack (C#, MVC / .Net Core, WEB API, JSON, REST, JavaScript, Ajax)

·       Good knowledge on Angular development, Angular JS

·       knowledge in Azure cloud solutions.

·       Developing and Hosting REST API Swagger and integration with angular.

Designation: Graphics and Simulation Engineer

Description:

We are looking for engineers to work on applied research problems related to computer graphics in autonomous driving of electric tractors. The team works towards creating a universe of farm environments in which tractors can driver around for the purposes of simulation, synthetic data generation for deep learning training, simulation of edges cases and modelling physics.

Technical Skills:

● Background in OpenGL, OpenCL, graphics algorithms and optimization is necessary.

● Solid theoretical background in computational geometry and computer graphics is desired. Deep learning background is optional.

● Experience in two view and multi-view geometry.

● Necessary Skills: Python, C++, Boost, OpenGL, OpenCL, Unity3D/Unreal, WebGL, CUDA.

●  Academic experience for freshers in graphics is also preferred.

●  Experienced candidates in Computer Graphics with no prior Deep Learning experience willing to apply their knowledge to vision problems are also encouraged to apply.

● Software development experience on low-power embedded platforms is a plus.

 Responsibilities:

● Understanding of engineering principles and a clear understanding of data structures and algorithms.

● Ability to understand, optimize and debug imaging algorithms.

Primary purpose of the role:

Front end development of websites and applications using CSS3, HTML5, jQuery and other skills to produce clean, functional and web compliant projects to be handed over to Back End Developers to be further worked on as well as CSS bug fixes post Back End development
