Job Description – SME - Structural (Pune)
SME | Structural Engineering| Concrete Design| Steel Design| International Codes | Design Report
We are looking for talented, creative, and driven structural engineers with a proven track record in solving difficult technical problems and able to explain these complex issues to non-technical people.
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s / Master’s degree in Civil Engineering / Structural Engineering from an Institution of repute and/or proven track record.
- 7+ years of experience in structural analysis and design, especially for building structures.
- Experience in the preparation of structural analysis and design reports for international projects.
- Hands-on experience in using commonly used structural analysis software solutions.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the structural analysis and design team to gather the quantities to be reported.
- Prepare a robust and flexible report format for a state-of-the-art structural analysis and design software so that the report can be submitted to authorities for required approval.
- Collaborate with the Product Owner and Software Development team to prepare the report format.
- Validate the report format proposed with report formats from benchmarking software and/or acceptable report formats for building departments of different countries.
Preferred Skills and Experience:
- Background knowledge of commonly used structural analysis and design software solutions.
- Thorough knowledge of American / European / Australian / New Zealand loading/design codes.
- Experienced in the preparation of structural reports for building authorities of different countries.
