Responsibilities

● Design and execution of research into the impact of an agency-led approach to livelihoods.

● Design and execution of the appropriate baseline surveys in communities.

● Gaining an in-depth understanding of the impact of the NGO program at the community level.

● Identification of research partners as required.

● Building tools and systems for monitoring and evaluation of the Lighthouse program and guiding the work of the data & reporting team.

● Data quality audits for program-specific data across the organization.

Requirements

● Master’s degree in statistics or economics with a specialization in statistical methods, or social sciences with training in qualitative and quantitative research methods.

● Minimum 5 years of work experience in the social sector/ corporate sector.

Key Responsibilities would include: 

1. Design, develop, and maintain enterprise-level Java applications. 

2. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze requirements, and implement solutions. 

3. Develop & customize the application using HTML5, CSS, and jQuery to create dynamic and responsive user interfaces. 

4. Integrate with relational databases (RDBMS) to manage and retrieve data efficiently. 

5. Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code following best practices and coding standards. 

6. Participate in code reviews, debugging, and testing to ensure high-quality deliverables. 

7. Troubleshoot and resolve issues in existing applications and systems. 

Qualification requirement - 

1. 4 years of hands-on experience in Java / J2ee development, preferably with enterprise-level projects.

2. Spring Framework including - SOA, AoP and Spring security 

3. Proficiency in web technologies including HTML5, CSS, jQuery, and JavaScript.

4. Experience with RESTful APIs and web services.

5. Knowledge of build tools like Maven or Gradle

6. Strong knowledge of relational databases (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle) and experience with SQL.

7. Experience with version control systems like Git.

8. Understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) 

9. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to details.

The IoT Migration Architect is a senior-level technical expert responsible for providing architecture leadership, design, and hands-on execution for migrating complex Internet of Things (IoT) applications and platforms from Microsoft Azure to Amazon Web Services (AWS). This role requires deep expertise in both Azure IoT and the entire AWS IoT ecosystem, ensuring a seamless, secure, scalable, and cost-optimized transition with minimal business disruption.

Required Technical Skills & Qualifications

10+ years of progressive experience in IT architecture, with a minimum of 4+ years focused on IoT Solution Architecture and Cloud Migrations.

Deep, hands-on expertise in the AWS IoT ecosystem, including design, implementation, and operations (AWS IoT Core, Greengrass, Device Management, etc.).

Strong, hands-on experience with Azure IoT services, specifically Azure IoT Hub, IoT Edge, and related data/compute services (e.g., Azure Stream Analytics, Azure Functions).

Proven experience in cloud-to-cloud migration projects, specifically moving enterprise-grade applications and data, with a focus on the unique challenges of IoT device and data plane migration.

Proficiency with IoT protocols such as MQTT, AMQP, HTTPS, and securing device communication (X.509).

Expertise in Cloud-Native Architecture principles, microservices, containerization (Docker/Kubernetes/EKS), and Serverless technologies (AWS Lambda).

Solid experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices in a cloud environment (e.g., Jenkins, AWS Code Pipeline, GitHub Actions).
