• Database Design & Development:
• Design, implement, and maintain PostgreSQL databases.
• Develop efficient schemas, indexes, and stored procedures to optimize data performance.
• Backend Development:
• Develop RESTful APIs and backend services using Node.js.
• Integrate databases with backend applications for seamless data flow.
• Query Optimization & Performance Tuning:
• Optimize SQL queries for performance and scalability.
• Monitor database health and troubleshoot slow queries or deadlocks.
• Security & Compliance:
• Implement database security best practices, including role-based access control (RBAC) and encryption.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards like GDPR, HIPAA, etc.
• Data Migration & Backup:
• Develop and maintain data migration scripts between different PostgreSQL versions or other databases like mongodb.
• Set up and manage database backup and recovery strategies.

Job Title: System Administrator

Position Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled and proactive System Administrator with a strong focus on Mac OS to join our IT team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the deployment, management, and troubleshooting of Mac OS devices within our organization. This includes supporting Mac desktops, laptops, and servers, ensuring seamless integration with the network infrastructure, and providing top-tier support to end-users. The role requires a deep understanding of Mac OS, IT best practices, and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities:

• Mac OS Device Management: Install, configure, and maintain macOS systems (desktops, laptops, and servers). Ensure proper setup, updates, and security for all Mac-based hardware.
• System Monitoring & Performance: Monitor and manage Mac systems for performance issues, availability, and security. Conduct routine system checks and troubleshooting of any Mac-related hardware or software issues.
• User Support & Training: Provide direct support to end-users, including troubleshooting, issue resolution, and answering questions related to Mac OS and software applications. Offer training for staff on best practices and efficient Mac usage.
• Software & Security Management: Manage software installations, patch management, and security configurations. Ensure all Mac systems are compliant with company policies, including data protection protocols and encryption standards.
• Backup & Recovery: Implement and maintain backup solutions for Mac systems. Coordinate data recovery in the event of system failure or disaster recovery scenarios.
• Network Integration: Ensure smooth integration of Mac OS devices into the broader corporate network. Troubleshoot network issues related to Mac systems, including connectivity, file-sharing, and VPNs.
• Automation & Scripting: Utilize automation tools (e.g., Jamf, Munki, or other MDM solutions) to streamline workflows, software deployment, and system management tasks. Create and maintain scripts for automating repetitive tasks (e.g., Bash, AppleScript).
• Documentation & Reporting: Maintain clear, up-to-date documentation for all processes related to Mac OS system management. Prepare regular reports on system status, security compliance, and user issues.
• Collaboration & Cross-Functional Support: Work closely with IT colleagues and other departments to ensure cross-platform compatibility and troubleshoot any cross-functional issues.
• Hardware Support & Upgrades: Support hardware lifecycle management, including Mac device procurement, setup, repairs, and disposal in accordance with company policies.

Required Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a System Administrator or similar IT role with a focus on Mac OS.
• Strong knowledge of macOS, including configuration, administration, and troubleshooting.
• Experience with Mobile Device Management (MDM) solutions (e.g., Jamf, Mosyle, Kandji).
• Familiarity with network administration, including DNS, DHCP, VPN, and file-sharing protocols.
• Proficiency with scripting and automation tools for system management (e.g., Bash, AppleScript, Automator).
• Strong understanding of security practices for macOS, including file encryption, firewall management, and endpoint protection.
• Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining a high level of system reliability and user satisfaction.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Apple Certified Support Professional (ACSP) or Apple Certified IT Professional (ACITP) certification.
• Experience with virtual environments (VMware, Parallels) on Mac OS.
• Knowledge of additional operating systems (Windows, Linux) and cross-platform integration.

The role will be part of our customer success team. You will work extensively on large datasets to identify and help remediate data risks for customers from diverse domains, and support them as a trusted security advisor. 

Responsibility 

• Analyse customer data on Concentric Platform, extract relevant insights to identify data risks, develop risk remediation strategies 
• Prepare and present data risk reports to customers. Handhold them for implementation of the risk remediation strategies 
• Develop, curate and maintain training datasets for AI models 
• Label large datasets for supervised learning of AI models 
• Serve as customer’s trusted data security advisor, providing subject matter expertise, strategic guidance to drive adoption of concentric platform aligned with customer objectives

• Strong experience on with data analytics. Proven ability to extract relevant insights from big volumes of data to solve specific problems. Eye for detecting trends, anomalies in data. 
• Experience in developing training datasets for AI models and data labelling for supervised learning of AI models. 
• Excellent attention to detail 
• Customer advisory experience preferably in data security domain 
• Experience on with Excel as data analysis and reporting tool is required. Knowledge of other tools like Python, Kibana, Jira, ppt will be a plus. 
• Broad knowledge of operationalizing data security, regulations and standards will be an advantage 
• Excellent communication skills across various formats and mediums. Strong presentation and facilitation skills
• Use creative problem-solving skills to help customers reach their business goals and maximize the value they are getting from Concentric platform
• Graduate/Post Graduate in Engineering discipline from premium institute
