Responsibilities

Work with the research team to understand, refine, and prioritize requirements.

Take ownership of the data infrastructure, data pipelines and production processes.

Improve and implement simple, powerful APIs in python for the strategy simulation, data and position monitoring with a focus on speed to execution and code efficiency.

Take ownership of coding quality, test cases and design patterns.

Create a machine learning model pipelines and simulation setup.

Optimise, automate and carry out continuous improvements to the workflow whenever necessary.

2+ years of industry experience in python-based software development, financial experience is a plus.

Strong coding skills in Python including the data science stack - pandas, numpy, sklearn and an understanding of databases.

Knowledge of libraries and data frameworks to optimize strategy simulation flow if a plus.

Solid understanding of engineering and infrastructure best practices (Tests, Version Controlling, Documentation).

Basic understanding of equity markets, CFA or equivalent certifications is appreciated.

The ideal candidate will conduct quantitative and qualitative analysis across various projects to optimize company growth and business. You will summarize findings in a succinct manner for the client's usage.

Candidates from Mumbai who can join immediately are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performing quantitative and qualitative research based on the project requirements (Use/Implement other market research databases, tools, and methodologies for executing the project as per the contract)
• Compiling data and preparing reports related to the current market and sharing a depth understanding of market trends, customer demographics, market sizing, and other factors influencing the product and service
• Analyzing and interpreting project data to identify patterns and offer solutions/consultation to the clients
• Supporting other consultants/analysts in the organization to deliver optimum results for a project
• Liaising with the client to keep them updated regarding project status, deliverables, and other related information
• Market research for competitors, customers, suppliers, industries, market trends, and technologies
• Prepare competitor and customer profiles and reports including operational, financial, and corporate data
• Prepare Competitive Benchmarking reports (technical and financial)
• Prepare analysis of targeted industries

Qualifications

• Master's/Bachelor's degree in Business or Economics or a related discipline
• 2 - 3 years of experience working with data in a related field
• Excellent communication skills
• Fluency in Microsoft Office suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.)
