Data Analyst - SQL

Strong Power Bi, Power App and SQL skills,

• Design and build compelling analyses, trending and/or forecasting reports using Microsoft Power BI.

• Design and build apps using power apps and power automate.

• Assist in the publishing of metrics dashboards by identifying, analyzing and interpreting trends or patterns in complex data sets.

• Define BI development objectives by analyzing user requirements while envisioning system features and functionality.

• Translate business needs into technical requirements, clearly communicate probable designs and create prototypes.

• Follow data and reporting performance optimization and tuning best practices.

• Conduct analytical activities of system data.

• Conducts complex data analysis and evaluates intangibles providing management with fact-based information.

• Knowledge of the supply chain domain.

Brief:

As a BI Developer at GradRight, you’ll be working with Tableau and supporting data sources to build reports for the requirements of various business teams.

Responsibilities:

1. Translate business needs to technical specifications for reports and dashboards
2. Design, build and deploy BI solutions
3. Maintain and support data analytics platforms (e.g. Tableau, Mixpanel, Google Analytics, etc)
4. Evaluate and improve existing BI systems
5. Collaborate with teams to integrate systems
6. Develop and execute database queries, conduct analysis and prepare data to be shared with respective stakeholders
7. Create visualizations and reports for requested projects
8. Develop and update technical documentation around reports

Requirements:

1. At least 3 years of proven experience as a BI Developer
2. Experience at a startup
3. Background in data warehouse design (e.g. dimensional modeling) and data mining
4. In-depth understanding of database management systems, online analytical processing (OLAP) and ETL (Extract, transform, load) framework
5. Working knowledge of Tableau
6. Knowledge of SQL queries and MongoDB
7. Proven abilities to take initiative and be innovative
8. Analytical mind with a problem-solving aptitude

1.      Python Developer with Snowflake

Job Description :

1. 5.5+ years of Strong Python Development Experience with Snowflake.
2. Strong hands of experience with SQL ability to write complex queries.
3. Strong understanding of how to connect to Snowflake using Python, should be able to handle any type of files
4.  Development of Data Analysis, Data Processing engines using Python
5. Good Experience in Data Transformation using Python. 
6.  Experience in Snowflake data load using Python.
7.  Experience in creating user-defined functions in Snowflake.
8.  Snowsql implementation.
9.  Knowledge of query performance tuning will be added advantage.
10. Good understanding of Datawarehouse (DWH) concepts.

• 4+ years of experience in a Data Engineering role, a Graduate degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Informatics, Information Systems, or another quantitative field.
• 4+ years of experience working with relational databases like Snowflake, Redshift, or Postgres.
• Intermediate to advanced level SQL programming skills.
• Data Analytics and Visualization (using tools like PowerBI)
