Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute the QA strategy that aligns with our product goals.
- Design and lead comprehensive test plans for high-complexity applications.
- Engage with product managers, developers, and other stakeholders to define quality requirements and ensure that they are met.
- Conduct defect analysis to identify root causes, trends, & patterns in software issues.
- Analyze fleet usage data to pinpoint future investment opportunities.
- Collaborate with testers, developers & others, to resolve product and technical issues.
- Oversee multiple tasks and projects simultaneously with minimal supervision.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information technology, Engineering, or professional degree in accounting.
- Relevant certifications in software testing, such as ISTQB (International Software Testing Qualifications Board) or CSTE (Certified Software Tester), are advantageous.
Experience:
- 7+ Years of experience in a manual testing role.
- Proven experience as a Senior Manual QA Engineer with a demonstrated ability to lead and mentor teams.
- Proven experience in ERP Systems (Project Accounting, Financial Accounting, Payroll, Inventory, Purchasing, or Time and Expense).
- Experience with process improvement and implementing QA best practices.
Technical Qualifications:
- In-depth knowledge of QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
- Experience with Agile software development practices.
- Experience with performance and/or security testing is advantageous.
- Experience testing web or mobile applications across various browsers, versions, and operating systems.
- Familiarity with automated tools such as Selenium, QTP or other automation tools.
- Basic understanding of SQL and ability to write queries for data validation.
- Familiarity with tools like Postman for API testing.
- Basic understanding of version control systems like Git.
- Proficiency in estimating, scheduling, and task distribution.
- Capable of using creative and analytical approaches, leveraging data-driven decision-making to enhance the customer experience
