Job Title: QA/Test Management Engineer

Location: Bangalore/ Mumbai

Experience Level: 2-7 Years

Notice period: Immediate to serving notice period up to 45 days

You will:

. Part of a Global test management team working in the Regulatory reporting domain.

. Collaborate with a wide range of colleagues all over the technology and business domain.

Have a good knowledge about testing concepts- including but not limited to understanding

business requirement, defining test scope, ability to collaborate with business/automation

stakeholders and executing tests, bug/defect tracking and closure.

. Demonstrate a high level of subject matter expertise to bridge functional requirements and technical solution.

. Strong working knowledge of various test types including white-box, black-box,

positive/negative, edge cases, etc.

. Solid test design skills, test case writing, automation, and analysis.

. Strong working knowledge of various test phases including functional, integration and

Regression.

. Strong working experience in running the test suite, investigating the failures and can fix or get it fixed, raise bugs, etc.

. Work closely with Dev and Business Analyst team to understand the functional requirements.

. Actively participate in squad ceremonies Sprint Refinements, Planning, Retrospective and

daily standups.

. Ability to learn new things and exhibit innovative testing approach.

. Strong ability and problem-solving Skills.

You must have:

. Ability to test applications thoroughly before deployment to ensure that they are free of

errors.

. 2-7 years 'experience in test automation or feature development (programming experience)

. Should be able to work with geographically dispersed Dev & QA team in a very dynamic,

rapidly evolving, and high pressure, high visibility project setting.

. Experience of working in a fast-paced Agile framework.

. Ability to challenge status quo and think of out-of-the box solutions to existing problems.

. Excellent problem-solving skills.

. Knowledge of trade lifecycle. product types/asset class types.

. Willingness to guide fellow team members in learning new technologies.

. Understanding of DevOps for complex systems

. Knowledge of Transaction Reporting, OTC Derivatives, Post Trade processing activities.

. Experience with continuous deployment tools and practices

. Experience with automation tools such as Python/PowerBI

Functional: Manual Functional Testing of Web and Mobile Applications, Writing Test Cases, Regression Testing, Data Verification, GIT & JIRA, Basic Automation Testing,
Testing feeds - Understanding of JSON and XML structures, Testing tools like Postman, Swagger & Charles Proxy, Browser Development Tools,GIT & JIRA.

Position description: 2+ years of hands on experience in testing.

Primary Responsibilities:

• To work closely with software developers and product planners to understand more about what the product is for, its key features and the intended audience
• Required to carry out a mix of key functional and non-functional tests such as Sanity, Regression, Load, Security and Deployment
• Required to plan test cases in consultation with the stake holders
• Required to document all bugs and findings of these tests and ensuring they are addressed

We are seeking a talented QA automation engineer to design testing procedures for our software applications. In this role, will be responsible for analyzing the functionality of applications and designing automated tests to validate their performance. You will also be required to identify bugs, install databases, and collaborate with the software design team.

QA Automation Engineer Responsibilities:

• Meeting with the software design team to discuss verification protocols.
• Identifying software application weaknesses and target areas.
• Sketching out ideas for automated software test procedures.
• Reviewing software bug reports and highlighting problem areas.
• Writing automation scripts and implementing software applications.
• Designing and installing software databases.
• Troubleshooting automation software and finalizing system procedures.

• Collaborating with the design team to solve application faults.

QA Automation Engineer Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, software engineering, or a similar field.
• Previous experience working as a QA automation engineer.
• Advanced programming skills including automation systems and databases.
• Must have worked on Selenium,Cucumber,Maven
• Familiarity with programming script languages including Java and VBScript.
• Excellent analytical skills.
• Detailed knowledge of application functions, bug fixing, and testing protocols.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Good project management skills.

• Experience in testing web-based applications.
• Experience in developing test cases and scenarios based on PRD/BRD/Use cases.
• Experience in testing Web Services
• Logging defects/bugs in the defect management tool
• Tracking the defects and retire them with appropriate test execution
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Tools and Technologies:

• Should have strong knowledge and hands-on with SQL, Java, and Selenium
• Good/Fair knowledge of angular framework and Protractor with JavaScript/TypeScript
• Hands-on with any of the defect management tools like Jira/Bugzilla
• Knowledge of J-meter, Soap UI is a plus

• Lead and manage a team that:
• Reviews and refines software requirements.
• Drafts and executes test plans and test cases.
• Identifies and drafts steps to reproduce defects utilizing our defect tracking system, JIRA.
• Enters and tracks defects to closure.
• Utilizes testing tools to increase the effectiveness of testing.
• Maintains test environments that mimic our production systems.
• Maintains and updates Selenium driven UI automation test cases.
• Maintains and updates ReadyAPI API automation test cases.
• Maintains and updates manual test cases.
• Maintains and updates JMeter performance/load test cases.
• Coach, mentor, and assist the team in performing their duties as needed.
• Provide formal QA approval and reporting for each release.
• Operate within the SAFe Agile methodology.
• Coordinate with other QA teams across the company.

• Experience leading a SQA or Software Development team
• Experience managing projects and processes cross-functionally
• Comfortable working in a continually changing and dynamic environment and driving top issues to resolution
• Proven track record of attracting, hiring, motivating and developing the best quality-minded individuals
• Excellent cross-functional communication and influencing skills
• In-depth knowledge and experience in one or more of the following technologies: Java, Python, Selenium, JMeter, ReadyAPI
• Automation planning, execution, and triage for projects on multiple Platforms.
• Excellent presentation skills, distilling complex analysis and concepts into concise business-focused takeaways
• In-depth knowledge and experience in identity management including OpenID Connect, SAML2, OAuth2, and SCIM.
• In-depth knowledge and experience of application security testing.
• Unix command line scripting skills
