Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced WebLogic Administrator with strong expertise in Oracle WebLogic Administration, OpenShift/Kubernetes, and Cloud technologies. The candidate will be responsible for administration, deployment, configuration, monitoring, troubleshooting, and performance optimization of middleware environments running on containerized and cloud platforms.

Key Responsibilities

• Install, configure, administer, and maintain Oracle WebLogic Server environments.
• Perform WebLogic domain configuration, managed server administration, clustering, deployments, and patching.
• Troubleshoot application, JVM, deployment, connectivity, and performance-related issues.
• Configure and manage WebLogic clusters, Node Manager, JDBC/JMS resources, data sources, and security.
• Deploy and manage applications across development, testing, and production environments.
• Administer and troubleshoot OpenShift / Kubernetes clusters and containerized applications.
• Work with Pods, Deployments, Services, ConfigMaps, Secrets, Ingress/Routes, and persistent storage.
• Support migration and modernization of WebLogic workloads to OpenShift/Kubernetes and Cloud environments.
• Monitor application and middleware health using enterprise monitoring and logging tools.
• Perform JVM tuning, capacity planning, performance optimization, and root-cause analysis.
• Automate administration and deployment activities using Shell/Python scripting and CI/CD tools.
• Work closely with application, DevOps, infrastructure, database, and cloud teams.
• Participate in incident, problem, and change management activities.
• Prepare technical documentation, operational procedures, and RCA reports.

Mandatory Skills

• Strong hands-on experience in Oracle WebLogic Administration.
• WebLogic 12c/14c administration and troubleshooting.
• WebLogic clustering, deployments, JDBC/JMS, Node Manager, and JVM tuning.
• Hands-on experience with OpenShift or Kubernetes.
• Good understanding of Docker/containerization.
• Experience working with Cloud platforms – AWS / Azure / GCP.
• Linux/Unix administration and troubleshooting.
• Shell scripting / Python scripting.
• Application deployment and production support.
• Good understanding of networking, security, and load balancing concepts.

Key Role Requirements:

• Experience in Java-J2EE Development
• Hands-on experience in Struts (Core Java, JSP, Servlets, EJB) framework.
• Hands-on experience in Oracle SQL, Procedures
• Hands-on experience in Spring boot, Spring batch
• Should have worked on application servers like IBM WAS / Jboss / Web logic.
• Knowledge of basic Linux commands and BIRT reporting tool is an added advantage.
• Knowledge in SVN or any other version control is an added advantage.
• Knowledge in Build tool like ANT, Maven is an added advantage
• Strong problem solving and analytical capabilities.
