As the Java Programmer, you will be responsible for developing cutting edge health-tech applications that include high scale transaction processing, intelligent bot based programs and data analytics.

What you will do:

• Building components for the company's advanced health tech platform using Java, Solr, SpringBoot, DialogFlow
• Communicating effectively in a cross-functional product development team and present ideas and solutions effectively
• Participating in technical planning and requirements gathering phases including design, code, test, troubleshoot, and document engineering software applications
• Developing the Code as per the requirements
• Working with product team and constructing the tech roadmap
• Designing, building and scaling the company's backend microservices
• Maintaining code integrity and organization
• Applying all quality requirements to make the code production ready
• Developing and deploying new features to facilitate related procedures and tools if necessary
• Developing documentation related to technical aspects and to facilitate current support, development, upgrades, or migrations
• Designing and building efficient, reusable, and reliable Java code
• Pro actively catching and fixing bugs, and providing support for the back end services
• Managing servers and infrastructure by keeping the lights on and refining the deployment architecture

Responsibilities:

• Build data pipelines for structured/unstructured, real-time/batch, events/synchronous/asynchronous using MQ, Kafka, Steam processing using Java / Python
• Design the Data stores for Big Data systems with expertise in Cassandra, HBase
• Implementation of Indexing and Search using Elasticsearch
• Setup and Deployment of Cassandra, Elasticsearch clusters

Required Qualifications and Competencies:

• Strong hands-on experience with Cassandra, data modeling, data replication, clustering, indexing for handling for large data sets
• Experience with SQL, NoSQL, relational database design, and methods for efficiently retrieving data for Time Series Analytics
• Strong understanding of CQL, Data Modeling in-order to achieve highly performant data access
• Strong experience in data modeling in Cassandra to design efficient storage model to meet variety of business needs
• Should have Elasticsearch skill with significant experience working with large Elasticsearch clusters, cluster performance optimisation, capacity planning, enhancing monitoring capabilities for early issue detection, driving operational readiness and ongoing maintenance
• Strong hands-on experience of programming with Java / Python
• Ability to troubleshoot and investigate stability, performance issues

What will you do?

• You will be responsible for the design and development of large-scale, multi-tenant, distributed systems using scalable, fault-tolerant architecture with distributed queues (kafka), distributed caches (redis), high volume data stores (MongoDB, Cassandra, elasticsearch), container-centric deployments (kubernetes).
• Write Java codes using best practices with high quality standards.
• Participate in code reviews and deep dive into design discussions.

What does the role involve? As a Web Backend Principal Software Engineer you will be responsible for creating REST APIs which are used to drive the User Interface. Given the nature of the application, these APIs needs to be very efficient and high performing. This requires optimising queries for faster execution and introducing database changes that may be required. You would be working with a complex technology stack which includes (but is not limited to) Spring, Hibernate, HornetQ, Quartz, etc. This requires extensive understanding of transaction management and data handling across different application layers. Your Mission As a Senior Node.js developer, you will be working directly with our team towards the development of our products, in Node.js, Angularjs, MySQL and more. You are expert in Core JavaScript development and have a sharp knowledge on how to use the object model of JavaScript at best to make your code tidy and reusable. You will use MEAN Stack (MongoDB, Express.js, Angular.js, Node.js) along with Redis for queue management and MySQL for fast transactions.
