WHAT A TECHNICAL DIRECTOR WILL BE DOING -
From the get-go, they will work with the existing team to develop and improve the platform and infrastructure, scale the customer-facing aspects of the product, finesse the operations vertical of the business, collect and store data for analysis and presentation, and design and build applications to use this data in various ways.
Helps in the planning of the existing architecture and product deliverables, as well as the design and development of entirely new projects.
Most of all, will be part of a team embarking on something new, different, and impactful at Licious.
INITIAL RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE:
Partner with our Product Management team to define product specs and build prototypes to test hypotheses
Lead a team of the backend, front-end, and mobile developers to ensure delivery of a scalable stack with testing frameworks and instrumentation appropriately factored in
Architect the platform for scale and handling millions of transactions with low latency and low failure rates
Improving our backend infrastructure and database schema to help Licious better utilize operations and customer data (including migrations, optimizing for performance, logging events and actions, improving the reporting and job management system, and improving our internal dashboards)
Creating additional internal systems to expose this data to front end applications.
Building entirely new applications to extract valuable insights from existing data
Improving upon existing front end applications for optimizing the customer journey
Improve the operations stack in the company to manage our processing and fulfilment centers
