Test Automation:

• Role Overview

• • Highly-skilled test automation engineer to design automation tests. Test automation engineers' duties include designing automation scripts and finding solutions for automation problems.

Level of skills and experience:

Devops Engineer(Permanent)

Experience: 8 to 12 yrs

Location: Remote for 2-3 months (Any Mastek Location- Chennai/Mumbai/Pune/Noida/Gurgaon/Ahmedabad/Bangalore)

Max Salary = 28 LPA (including 10% variable)

Notice Period: Immediate/ max 10days

Mandatory Skills: Either Splunk/Datadog, Gitlab, Retail Domain

· Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science/Information Technology, or in a related technical field or equivalent technology experience.

· 10+ years’ experience in software development

· Experience managing and deploying Infrastructure as Code, using tools like Terraform Helm charts etc.

• Developer Role:
• Preferably Java 
• CI/CD - DevOps (Exposure)
• Messaging Middleware (Exposure to Kafka or any other messaging middleware)
• DB: Oracle (pref) - any other Database platforms (SQL/NoSQL)
• Server Side: Java, Spring boot Microservices
• Exposure to Any Major Cloud Platform (AWS/Azure/GCP)

• Hands-on knowledge of BDD Cucumber Framework
• Hands-on knowledge of Maven
• Appium hands-on
• Jenkins hands-on
• Hands-on knowledge of API testing techniques and usage of API tools SOAP UI/JMeter (REST /SOAP)
• Rest api automation using rest assured
• Usage of Postman or JMeter tool to modify requests to validate multiple outputs on scenarios.
• Analyze results of tests and to be able to update existing test suits after API changes
• Basic Knowledge about CI/CD Concepts
• Exposure to UI Automation, Selenium, JAVA Rest Assured, TestNG
• Experience using at least one defect management tool – JIRA, HP ALM, ADO etc

• Hands-on experience in Development
• 4-6 years of Hands on experience with Python scripts
• 2-3 years of Hands on experience in PySpark coding. Worked in spark cluster computing technology.
• 3-4 years of Hands on end to end data pipeline experience working on AWS environments
• 3-4 years of Hands on experience working on AWS services – Glue, Lambda, Step Functions, EC2, RDS, SES, SNS, DMS, CloudWatch etc.
• 2-3 years of Hands on experience working on AWS redshift
• 6+ years of Hands on experience with writing Unix Shell scripts
• Good communication skills
