Position Overview

The Functional Analyst - AMEA ERP COE role involves engaging in various MM/WM projects and delivering effective SAP solutions while supporting procurement and manufacturing operations in the AMEA region.

Experience & Education

Total Experience: 6–8 years in SAP MM (ECC or S/4HANA)

Education: Graduate (minimum 4 academic years)

Domain Experience: 3+ years in Purchasing/Manufacturing preferred

Implementation: 3 full-cycle MM implementations; S/4HANA exposure (Advanced STO, Embedded WM)

Implementation & Functional Skills

• Enterprise Structure Mapping: Plants, Storage Locations, Purchasing Orgs
• P2P Processes: Subcontracting, Third-party procurement, Release strategies, Inventory management, Pricing and Account determination etc.
• Cross-Border (export/ import) & Intercompany Scenarios
• Interfaces: IDOCs, ALE
• ABAP Basics: Debugging knowledge

Work Culture & Responsibilities

The successful applicant will ensure independence in handling MM/WM projects and support calls autonomously, while also being culturally sensitive to support countries across Asia, Middle East, and Africa.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct workshops and gather MM / WM operation requirements
• Deliver SAP solutions (Blueprints, Functional Specs, Testing, Training)
• Manage data migrations
• Ensure audit compliance
• Delivery enhancements and changes within timelines

Value Additions

Innovate MM/WM functionalities beyond the template and participate in ABB initiatives (CSI, Cost Saving, AppRun, etc.).

Technical Skills Required:

• Frontend: Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and frameworks like React.js or Vue js.
• Backend: Hands-on experience with Node.js, PHP, or along with frameworks like Express.
• Database: Experience with relational databases like MySQL, PostgreSQL,
• Version Control: Familiarity with Git and Git-based workflows.
• Understanding of RESTful APIs and integration with third-party services.
• Basic knowledge of DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud platforms is a plus.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field.
• Proven experience working on full-stack development projects.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

The client is currently interviewing candidates who are based in Gujarat

• Writing tested, idiomatic, and documented JavaScript, HTML and CSS
• Coordinating the workflow between the graphic designer, the HTML coder, and yourself
• Cooperating with the back-end developer in the process of building the RESTful API
• Communicating with external web services
• Deep knowledge of React practices and commonly used modules based on extensive work experience
• Thorough understanding of the responsibilities of the platform, database, API, caching layer, proxies, and other web services used in the system
• Validating user actions on the client side and providing responsive feedback

• Understanding tender documents, preparing synopsis and sharing it with management.
• Uploading the tender documents online & final submission of tender or bid.
• Responsible for drafting proposals for various projects in coordination with other departments.
• Preparation of pre-bid queries and regular follow up with the concerned departments.
• Making quotations, checklist for all type of tenders
• Preparing bid documents and getting it validated by the management.
• Submitting tender documents online (and physically if required).
• Maintaining records in the system

Requirements:

• Completed BE/BTech in Electrical
• 3-5 years experience
• Must be in Pune and comfortable to work from office in Kothrud
• Knowledge about datacenter industry (preferred)
• Experience with SAP system (preferred)

• Own customer relationship end to end and maintain ongoing conversation with the clients for continuous feedback
• Establish processes for reducing integration timelines and increasing transparency
• Maintain an advisory role in helping customers get more value from Xpresslane products
• Upsell and cross-sell new product features/products from Xpresslane
• Collaborate with all departments in identifying right solution for customer concerns
• Track the customer conversion metrics
• Maintain high levels of customer satisfaction

Requirements

• 2-4 years of experience in communications, marketing, sales, account management, or customer success
• Bonus - experience working with eCommerce sector
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to work across functions in and outside the company
• Self-starter and multi-tasker

Job Description:

• Integration of user-facing elements developed by front-end developers.
• Build efficient, testable, and reusable PHP modules.
• Solve complex performance problems and architectural challenges.
• Integration of data storage solutions (may include databases, key-value stores, blob stores, etc.)
• Strong knowledge of PHP web frameworks (such as Laravel, Codeignitor, Yii, etc depending on your technology stack)
• Understanding the fully synchronous behavior of PHP.
• Understanding of MVC design patterns.
• Basic understanding of front-end technologies, such as JavaScript, JQuery, HTML5 and CSS3
• Knowledge of object oriented PHP programming
• Understanding accessibility and security compliance (Depending on the specific project)
• Strong knowledge of the common PHP or web server exploits and their solutions.
• Understanding fundamental design principles behind a scalable application
• User authentication and authorization between multiple systems, servers, and environments
