Frontend Architect

Experience: 6+ years

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable applications using React.js and FastAPI/Node.js.
• Write clean, modular, and well-documented code in Python and JavaScript.
• Deploy and manage applications on AWS using ECS, ECR, EKS, S3, and CodePipeline.
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines to automate testing, deployment, and monitoring.
• Implement unit, integration, and end-to-end tests using frameworks like Swagger and Pytest.
• Ensure secure coding practices, including authentication and authorization.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and mentor junior developers.

Skills Required:

• Strong expertise in React.js and modern frontend development
• Experience with FastAPI and Node.js backend
• Proficient in Python and JavaScript
• Hands-on experience with AWS cloud services and containerization (Docker)
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and secure coding practices

With a heavy reliance on Software Engineering in AI/ML and Data Science, we seek individuals with experience in:

• Cloud infrastructure and containerisation (Docker, Azure or AWS – Azure preferred)
• Data preparation
• Model lifecycle (training, serving, registries)
• Natural Language Processing (NLP) and Large Language Models (LLMs)

What You’ll Bring

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science (or equivalent) OR demonstrable experience.
• Proven experience as a Lead Software Engineer in AI/ML and Data Science.
• 8+ years of working experience.
• 2+ years of leadership experience as Tech Lead or Team Lead.
• 5+ years strong knowledge of Python and software engineering principles.
• 5+ years strong knowledge of cloud infrastructure and containerization.
• Docker (required).
• Azure or AWS (required, Azure preferred).
• 5+ years strong working knowledge of TensorFlow / PyTorch.
• 3+ years good working knowledge of ML-Ops principles.
• Data preparation.
• Model lifecycle (training, serving, registries).
• Theoretical knowledge of AI / Data Science in one or more of:
• Natural Language Processing (NLP) and LLMs
• Neural Networks
• Topic modelling and clustering
• Time Series Analysis (TSA): anomaly detection, trend analysis, forecasting
• Retrieval Augmented Generation
• Speech to Text
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Build desktop and mobile web applications using contemporary javascript frameworks
• Actively participate in design and code reviews to build robust applications and prototypes
• Explore and design simple and intuitive consumer experiences
• Work closely with Product Managers, UX designers, and back-end engineers to implement frontend solutions
• Build reusable code and libraries for future use, focus on long term code maintainability
• Work in a fast-paced and agile development environment

• Develop and optimize machine learning models to run efficiently on mobile web and best exploit modern parallel environments.
• Develop and deploy real-time AR computer vision algorithms for the web in areas related to 3D reconstruction, WebGL rendering, object detection and tracking, and camera calibration.
• Work with research and engineering teams to productionize machine learning services for Augmented Reality experiences.

What we look for:

• Minimum 2+ years of experience working with the following languages (any 2): C++, Javascript, Rust.
• Strong experience working with at least one deep-learning library (e.g., PyTorch, Jax, TensorFlow, Caffe2). This experience should include formulation, training, and optimization of new algorithms.

Also Preferred:

• Prior experience with WebGL, WebAssembly.
• Strong grasp of CPU and GPU performance challenges and optimization techniques.
• Experience in shipping computer vision or image processing products to customers.
