• Play an integral part in managing E-commerce project and planned website release from inception to completion
• Shift our current Shopify website to magento
• Create accurate development and support tickets and instruct and manage the relationship with the external development team.
• Work closely with our Ecommerce platform provider on areas such as site performance, site speed, infrastructure, and new product releases.
• Working with website monitoring and testing tools to ensure the website is performing optimally at all times.
• Work with Business Units to develop Ecommerce digital plans to improve conversion from all key channels
• In depth knowledge of PHP, HTML, CSS & JS

Wise is digital infrastructure for online education. Oversimplified as ‘Shopify for Tutors’ i.e., an easy to use tool for tutors to start teaching online. We have grown to 200k users in 2 months and have much to do. We are backed by an incredible set of investors and individuals who have built product you probably already use. We have a small but rockstar team, cheap equity, smart money, opportunity to capture a huge market ($60bn) and a chance to make an impact while doing so.

We need you, if you have 4+ years of experience in creating intuitive user experiences. We are execution focused and work would involve building things quickly & adapting based on market feedback. If you love designing consumer products & building things excites you, we would like to talk to you.

What you will do

• Work directly with the founding team and drive key product decisions
• Define and establish a common, unified UI library
• Define entire user experiences, information architectures, and interaction concepts for both web and mobile applications
• Build storyboards, user flows, wireframes and mockups to communicate design ideas

1. Designing and developing advanced applications for android platforms.
2. Collaborate with UI/UX designers as well as the software engineers to make sure that each app is presentable.
3. Test the applications, identify any bugs and resolve them
4. Manage tasks within Agile framework and controlled JIRA workflow.
5. Document architecture and implementation for internal and external components.

1. 1+ years of experience in Android Development .
2. Previous experience working in a fast paced start up is a plus.
3. Released at least 1 app or have a project in works that you can tell us about.
4. Experience publishing a high-quality android application to the google store.
5. Solid understanding of the full mobile development life cycle.
6. Experience working with Android SDK and Android studio.
7. Good in JAVA (j2se) and Kotlin
8. Experience with APIs (OAuth, XML, JSON, REST, etc. )
9. Ability to understand business requirements and convert them into technical requirements.

• 1+ years of experience with Android
• Basic understanding of Kotlin
• Experience with Android Architecture Components Like ViewModel, LiveData, Data BInding, Navigation etc.
• Experience with frameworks like OkHttp, Retrofit, androidx, moshi, picasso, among others.
• Experience with design patterns and industry trends
• Understanding that great code is also maintainable code.
