Position Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Quality Control person to join our team, a

designer and manufacturer of high performance elastomeric seals. The primary responsibility of

this role is to ensure the quality of incoming and outgoing materials, as well as inspect in-process

plastic and metal components to maintain the highest product standards.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Incoming and Outgoing Material Inspection:

- Inspect and verify the quality of raw materials, elastomers, plastics, and metal components.

- Compare incoming materials to specifications, purchase orders, and certifications.

- Prepare and maintain detailed records of material inspections and test results.

2. In-Process Inspection:

- Monitor production processes to ensure compliance with quality standards.

- Conduct dimensional and visual inspections of plastic and metal components during

manufacturing.

- Identify and report non-conformities and initiate corrective actions.

3. Final Product Inspection:

- Conduct detailed inspections of finished elastomeric seals and other components before

shipment.

- Verify compliance with customer specifications and regulatory requirements.

4. Documentation and Reporting:

- Maintain detailed inspection records, test reports, and calibration logs.

- Prepare and submit quality reports to the Quality Manager and production team.

5. Collaboration and Continuous Improvement:

- Work closely with production, engineering, and purchasing teams to address quality issues.

- Assist in root cause analysis and corrective action plans for identified defects.

- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product quality and process

efficiency.

6. Equipment Maintenance and Calibration:

- Ensure inspection tools and equipment are calibrated and in good working condition.

- Schedule regular maintenance and calibration of measurement devices.

Qualifications and Skills:

- Education: A Bachelor’s degree in Science (preferably Physics) or a B.E Degree (Mechanical /

Industrial) or a related field is preferred.

- Experience: Minimum 1-2 years of experience in quality control, preferably in the elastomeric

seals, plastics industry.

Technical Skills:

- Proficiency in using inspection tools such as calipers, micrometers, CMMs, and gauges.

- Strong understanding of technical drawings, specifications, and GD&T.

- Familiarity with ISO 9001 and other quality management systems.

Soft Skills:

- Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.

- Excellent communication and documentation abilities in English is a must.

- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Powerpoint and Word.

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

- Knowledge of Lean Six Sigma and 5S is preferred.

Key Responsibilities

Architect & Design:

• Provide technical and architectural direction for complex frontend solutions,ensuring alignment with enterprise standards and best practices.
• Conduct design and code reviews to maintain high-quality, reusable, and scalable frontend interfaces for enterprise applications.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and enforce UI/UX design guidelines, accessibility standards, and performance benchmarks.
• Identify and address potential security vulnerabilities in frontend implementations, ensuring compliance with security and data privacy requirements.

Development & Debugging:

• Write clean, maintainable, and efficient frontend code.
• Debug and troubleshoot code to ensure robust, high-performing applications.
• Develop reusable frontend libraries that can be leveraged across multiple projects.

AI Awareness (Preferred):

• Understand AI/ML fundamentals and how they can enhance frontend applications.
• Collaborate with teams integrating AI-based features into chat applications.

Collaboration & Reporting:

• Work closely with cross-functional teams to align on architecture and deliverables.
• Regularly report progress, identify risks, and propose mitigation strategies.

Quality Assurance:

• Implement unit tests and end-to-end tests to ensure code quality.
• Participate in code reviews and enforce best practices.

Required Skills 

• 5-10 years of experience architecting and developing cloud-based global applications in a public cloud environment (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
• Strong hands-on expertise in frontend technologies: JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3
• Proficiency with Modern frameworks like React, Angular, or Node.js
• Backend familiarity with Java, Spring Boot (or similar technologies).
• Experience developing real-world, at-scale products.
• General knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and their structure, use, and capabilities.
• Strong problem-solving, debugging, and performance optimization skills.

Your Skills & Experience:

• 4-8 Years with 2+ years of implementing commerce application with SFCC in last 3 years
• Demonstrate proficiency in build and release management using CI/CD strategies (leveraging tools like Jenkins and DevOps practices), implement Mocha/Chai unit and functional test cases in order to reduce costs while ensuring quality
• Contributes to designing, implementing and documenting the build release process as well as system configuration and deployment characteristics of the applications
• Participates in technical walkthroughs/ code reviews of other team members’ components, test plans and results and help them with gaps
• Collaborate with architect to define implementation processes and quality gates and standards
• Identifies risks and issues, and help monitor them
• Guides the development of reference and resource materials for SFCC
• Mentors SFCC developers in improving their platform knowledge and development skills
• Communicate technical design to the SFCC developers and help/guide them in the implementation
• Participates in Agile sprints and helps developers understand the strengths and limitations of SFCC
