Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Business Operations Associate at DBaaS Software Private Limited in Chennai. The Business Operations Coordinator will be responsible for day-to-day operations, providing analytical support, assisting with administrative tasks, and delivering excellent customer service.

Develop a strategy to identify and evaluate tender opportunities aligned with the company's objectives and capabilities

Coordinate with various departments to gather the necessary information and documentation for the submission of tenders

Develop and submit compelling tender responses, ensuring that deadlines and project requirements are met

Communicate with clients and respond to queries during the tendering process

Analyze the tender results and provide feedback to the management for continuous improvement

Maintain close contact with project managers to ensure smooth project initiation, execution, and closure

Contribute to the definition of the scope, objectives, and deliverables of the project

Monitor the progress of the project and provide management and stakeholders with updates

Identification and mitigation of project risks and issues, and escalation thereof as necessary

Review and negotiate contract terms and conditions to ensure alignment with company goals and policies

Monitor contract performance and ensure contractual compliance

Responsible for amending, extending, and renewing contracts

Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all contracts and related documents.

Process Improvement:

Analyze existing business processes related to tenders and projects, identifying areas for improvement

Enhance process efficiency, productivity, and quality through the development and implementation of process enhancements

Establish and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs) for the management of tenders and projects

Responsible for managing client accounts, building and maintaining relationships with clients, You will also be involved in sales forecasting, account planning

Every day, Monitor and ensure the accuracy of the daily transactions, journal entries, General ledger system and month end close work.

Reconciliation of Customer and Suppliers accounts

TDS, Income tax, PF, ESI & PT returns filling on a timely basis.

Looking after all statutory deductions and remittances to Govt.

Finalization of accounts in accordance with companies Act and accounting standards.

Preparation of annual accounts at the end of the year according to the provision of the law.

Review and Filing GSTR1 & GSTR 3B, & Reconciliation GSTR2A V/S GSTR 3B, and Filing Returns within due date along with the annual returned.

Manage taxation like VAT, Service tax, TDS, Income tax, PF & ESI & returns on timely basis

Every Month Filing Statutory Returned within due date like, Sales Tax, Service Tax, PT, ESIC, EPF, &

Filing GST like GSTR1, 2A,3B, etc. Monthly Deducting Tds for Contractors, Salary Employees, OtherVendors, which is applicable for Tds.

Compilation of form 16 and form 16A, Quarterly and annually returned prescribed under the income tax Act, 1961 for tax deducted at source u/s 192 to 194- K

Job Function: - Extending technical support to sales team & customers, Technical Presentation, Product Demonstration & explaining products salient features.

Products:- Products fall under Azbil’s Control products division. Products such as gas flow measurement and control products, mass flow meter, mass flow controllers, temperature controllers, modulating motors, pressure switches,limit switches, photoelectric sensors, proximity sensors, Flame Detectors-Burner Controllers Assembly.

Customer Segment :- Furnace & Oven Manufacturer, Machine Manufacturer, Automotive, Heat Treatment.

Sales Experience: - 6 to 10 Years

Desired Qualification: - Bachelor of Engineering or Diploma Degree holder.

Skills Required: - Relevant Product Knowledge, Technical Presentation Skills, Product Demonstrations, Proven experience in technical sales & product demonstration roles, Good Verbal Communication.

Reporting to: - Reporting to Control Product Department’s head from Advance Automation Business Unit.

Areas of Responsibility: -

·        Responsible for explaining our products’ technical functionalities and benefits to potential customers.

·        Responsible for working closely with the sales product team & helping to drive product adoption & sales success.

·        Handle technical questions during demonstrations.

·        Handle technical troubleshooting issues.

·        To Keep the management informed about the product promotional activities.

·        Working with various sales channels - OEMs, End Users, distributors etc. for Product adoption against other manufacturers.

Essential Skills:

• 8 years experience delivering highly available web/mobile applications including 1-3 years as Senior/Lead developer. Prior experience in retail domain is a plus
• 3 years of experience working with distributed teams
• Deep knowledge of UI Libraries / Frameworks, API (REST), API Management and building scalable and high performance Web APIs
• Must have experience building websites using Javascript and Java technologies (e.g. Typescript, Spring Boot). Search Engine and Native App development experience is a plus.
• AWS Serverless Cloud native services experience with Lambda functions, SNS, SQS, DynamoDB, API Gateway etc
• Strong knowledge of Caching frameworks, data structures, algorithms, operating systems, and distributed systems
