Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced SAP ABAP Professional with 8+ years of expertise in developing and supporting SAP applications using SAP ABAP within the SAP environment. The ideal candidate should have strong hands-on experience in RICEF objects, ABAP Proxy, and ALE/IDOC integrations.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain SAP applications using ABAP
- Work extensively on RICEF objects:
- Reports
- Interfaces
- Conversions
- Enhancements
- Forms
- Develop and manage ABAP Proxy and ALE/IDOC integrations
- Collaborate with functional consultants to understand business requirements
- Perform debugging, testing, and performance tuning
- Support SAP system enhancements, upgrades, and migrations
- Ensure code quality, documentation, and best practices
- Participate in deployment and post-production support
Required Skills
- 8+ years of strong experience in SAP ABAP development
- Expert-level knowledge of RICEF objects
- Hands-on experience with:
- ABAP Proxy
- ALE / IDOC (Mandatory)
- Strong debugging and performance optimization skills
- Experience in SAP integration and data exchange
- Good understanding of SAP modules (MM, SD, FICO – preferred)
Preferred Skills
- Experience in SAP migrations / upgrades
- Knowledge of S/4HANA environment
- SAP certification (good to have)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science / IT / Engineering or related field

Position Summary
The Quality Manager will be responsible for ensuring quality standards across the entire rice value chain, including procurement, processing, storage, polishing, sorting, packing, and dispatch. The role involves managing quality systems, supervising laboratory testing, ensuring regulatory compliance, and coordinating with internal teams and suppliers to deliver consistent product quality.
Key Responsibilities
Quality Control & Assurance
- Implement and monitor quality standards for raw, semi-processed, and finished rice
- Conduct quality checks for grain length, moisture, purity, color, foreign matter, broken percentage, and aroma
- Oversee grading, sorting, polishing, and packing operations
- Approve final batches before dispatch as per contract and market requirements
Laboratory & Testing Management
- Supervise laboratory testing and quality analysis
- Ensure calibration and maintenance of testing equipment
- Maintain accurate test documentation and reports
Supplier & Procurement Coordination
- Inspect incoming rice from suppliers and traders
- Evaluate and onboard suppliers based on quality parameters
- Coordinate with procurement to reject substandard material and improve sourcing quality
Process Improvement & Compliance
- Drive continuous improvement in milling, grading, and sorting processes
- Ensure compliance with FSSAI, ISO, HACCP, BRC, and export quality standards
- Lead and support internal and external quality audits
- Handle customer complaints and conduct root cause analysis
Team Leadership & Reporting
- Train production, sorting line, and lab teams on quality standards
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly quality performance reports
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree (required)
- 7–12 years of experience in rice mill operations or the rice export industry
- Strong knowledge of Basmati and Non-Basmati rice grades and processing standards
- Hands-on experience with color sorters, polishers, and graders (preferred)
- Understanding of milling parameters, moisture control, and storage practices

- Work independently and progress the build of a CEMLI/RICE object from a technical design document

- Understanding functional documents of FIN (GL, Fixed Assets, Cash management, AP/AR) and SCM (procurement, Inventory, Order Management).
Experience and Skills:
- Minimum a Bachelor’s degree.
- Oracle Apps Technical with 5+ years of Experience in development, testing and deployment of RICE components and financial modules
- Good Experience on Oracle Forms & Reports, XML / BI Publisher Reporting Tools, Interfaces (outbound /Inbound) and Workflow.
- Must have a strong experience and knowledge of Oracle E-Business Suite
- Must have strong technical experience on PL/SQL, XML Publisher reports, Java, Oracle Applications Framework (OAF)
- Knowledge on ADF
- Must be able to work independently with business users and external users and responsible for design, development, Testing support, production deployment and production support.
- Excellent organization and communication skills
