Job Summary
We are looking for a highly analytical and detail-oriented Domain Expert/Specialist in Fund Accounting & Portfolio Management to join our Product, Finance & Actuarial team. The ideal candidate should possess strong expertise in fund accounting, portfolio management services (PMS), investment operations, financial analysis, and reconciliation processes.
In this role, you will work closely with business stakeholders and the engineering team to translate complex financial and investment workflows into scalable product solutions. You will also lead analysts, drive process improvements, ensure quality deliverables, and support the development of financial products and reporting solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as a subject matter expert in Fund Accounting, Portfolio Management Services (PMS), investment operations, and financial reporting.
- Understand client requirements, regulatory guidelines, compliance needs, and investment workflows, and translate them into clear business and functional requirements.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance financial products and automate operational workflows.
- Conduct detailed financial analysis to support product development, business decisions, and operational improvements.
- Develop, validate, and maintain financial models, including portfolio valuations, cash flows, NAV calculations, reconciliations, and performance reporting.
- Analyze financial data, identify trends, investigate variances, perform reconciliations, and recommend process improvements.
- Prepare reports, dashboards, presentations, and analytical insights for internal stakeholders and clients.

Requirements
Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Commerce, Economics, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related discipline.
- Professional qualifications such as CA, CFA, CPA, FRM, CMA, MBA (Finance), or equivalent will be an added advantage.
- 4–8 years of experience in Fund Accounting, Portfolio Management Services (PMS), Asset Management, Investment Operations, Financial Analysis, or similar domains.
- Strong understanding of fund accounting principles, portfolio accounting, financial statements, investment products, and reconciliation processes.
- Experience in financial modelling, reporting, and analytical problem-solving.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and MS Office applications (Word, PowerPoint, Email).
- Experience working with financial systems, investment platforms, or portfolio management applications is preferred.
- Strong analytical, quantitative, and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
