Job brief We are looking for a Backend Developer with experience in building high-performance, scalable and enterprise-grade applications. You will be part of a talented team that works on mission-critical applications. You will be responsible for Backend application development while providing expertise in the full software development lifecycle, from concept and design to testing. The Mission We are in a high growth phase in the company and will be completely revamping the Backend architecture that handles 35k daily orders to make sure it can handle 1 million daily orders. You will need to tactfully handle huge volume distributed from various applications using the backend system. At the same time, the product is being upgraded to bring extreme convenience to our customers. The aim here is to make sure all of India can run its kitchen on auto-pilot by making sure we have effective prediction systems in place to help our customers. Responsibilities • Design and develop high-volume, low-latency applications for mission-critical systems, delivering high-availability and performance • Contribute in all phases of the development lifecycle • Write well designed, testable, efficient code • Ensure designs are in compliance with specifications • Prepare and produce releases of software components • Support continuous improvement by investigating alternatives and technologies and presenting these for architectural review Requirements • A minimum of 3-7 years of experience is required • Good knowledge of Java, Spring, MySql, JDBC • Thorough in Data Structures
