Responsibilities:
- Partner with the business to determine the optimal solution for their prioritized needs
- Enforce design principles leading with configuration and only writing code when needed
- Participate in the full software development life cycle from technical design to development, testing and deployment
- Should be able to work with business stakeholders to understand the roadmap, pain points.
- Quickly understand existing system architecture, analyze and recommend improvements.
- Should be able to design solutions on ServiceMax and distribute tasks to team members and guide them.
- Design and develop solutions that best leverage the ServiceMax platform to support critical business functions and meet project objectives, business requirements and company goals
- Participate in technical design discussions, develop technical solution documentation that is aligned with business objectives.
- Develop, test, and document custom development, integrations, and data migration elements of ServiceMax implementation.
- Independently analyze application and system problems and incidents; develop recommendations and solutions for those problems, implement those solutions, and provide communications on the associated actions, business impacts, and results.
- Follow coding standards best practices, and participate in code reviews
- Accountable for the following: design workshops with ServiceMax and SFDC best practices including application limits, complete requirements analysis and confirmation, identify and own the final documentation for the technical specifications for the customizations, confirm functional design, document final solutions, lead deployment including guiding all sandbox code migration
- Provide peer reviews of Solution Design and Configuration Documents ensuring fit between with ServiceMax best practices and customer requirements
- Perform ServiceMax configuration activities, Service Flow Manager Configuration and APEX trigger implementation, including training the system administration and IT team members.
Required Skills
- Minimum 5 years of experience working on Salesforce Platform.
- Having a good understanding of Salesforce object models, relationship, limits, security etc.
- Should be aware of customization and configuration options.
- Minimum 4 years of experience working on ServiceMax technology, where minimum 2 years should be as a lead/architect.
- Having built large scale ServiceMax application catering to complex use cases. Having experience of different ServiceMax modules like Work Order Management, SFM, Location Management, Dispatch Console, Mobile App etc.
Job Description:
· Below are the typical activities expected to be performed by a ServiceMax Administrator/ Developer.
· These activities will be performed to support, break-fix, unit test, configure and develop Horiba's
· ServiceMax as per Help Desk tickets and other projects in a timely manner.
· Technical experience with Force.com, SFDC/ ServiceMax Administrator, Visual Force, Java.
· Field Service "Best Practice" guidance to segments/ end users
· Consult and assist end users and other support team members with data mapping activities in support of integration with SAP system or other systems in future..

Security: Object security definition for Smax users
· Profile Management on object level permissions

As Salesforce Registered Consulting Partner, we offer a vast range of salesforce marketplace products from website integration, document generation, application integration. Some of our experiences are in Apttus, Conga, Formstack, Field Service Lightning (FSL), ServiceMax, MuleSoft, Informatica, UX and Mobile/iOS development.

Responsibilities
- Support business objectives by leveraging the Salesforce platform to build and configure comprehensive solutions that improve business processes and drive efficiency gains across all business functions.
- Analyze complex business and technical requirements, with regard to their impact on existing systems and environments, to produce a thorough business and system design.
- Design, configure, develop, document, test, and implement solutions on the Salesforce.com platform, including integrations with third party applications and other tools.
- Understand the business needs of internal customers and provide comprehensive solutions for such needs.
- Develop coding standards and provide guidance to software developers.
- Participate in cross functional team communication and knowledge sharing activities.
- Work on complex projects with minimal guidance from managers.
- Fulfill technical lead role on large projects and coordinate development activities.
- Work with requirement owners to estimate and prioritize user system requests.
- Advise on how to leverage out-of-the-box Salesforce solutions, as well as when to customize and enhance.
- Manage and document configuration changes to fields, workflows, reports, roles/permissions, security settings, page layouts, custom objects, reports and dashboards.
- Remain current on Salesforce releases, features, best practices, applications, technologies and certifications (Trailhead)
- Manage release preview and business process testing for ongoing Salesforce bug fixes and new releases, advising the Salesforce users on the strategic direction the application should take, including third party add-ons or additional applications.
- Drive user adoption and best practices to further the long-term success of the system through training and support (as needed)
- Maintain system health checks,
- Communicate effectively with project managers and other stakeholders regarding project status and delivery timeframes.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or information technology
- Minimum of 3 years of hand-on Salesforce development experience
- Extensive technical experience with Salesforce in the following capacities:
- Gap analysis, solution design, configuration, and development
- Integrating Salesforce with other applications using web services and other technologies
- Use of APIs, Apex, Triggers, Flows, Lightning, to develop extensions to native functionality.
- Good to have experience in FSL.
- Implementing platform end-to-end, including data conversion and post-production support and troubleshooting
- System administration, including user management, environment planning, and workflow, approval, and message configuration.
- Experience developing using SQL, JavaScript, REST and SOAP APIs, HTML, and XML
- Experience with Agile Project methodology and familiarity with JIRA.
