As a member of the electronics team, you will be responsible for designing test & validation platforms (ICT/FCT), from component selection to deployment in our lab. You will join a team dedicated to raising the standards for battery management systems and contribute to their continuous improvement. You will meet and surpass industry standards for safety systems, and help build robust electronics impervious to the hostility of various applicative environnements. At ION you will have the opportunity to make lithium-ion batteries safer, more efficient, and basically help the world tackle one of its biggest challenge : Energy storage. What you will do: - Design and build hardware for test & validation platforms (ICT/FCT) for battery management systems - Start to finish ownership of hardware from specification to design, prototype, reliability validation and implementation - Collaborate with BMS HW/FW engineering team to successfully to design, validate and deploy testing tools - Develop & implement benchmark & test protocols according to industry standards This is you: - BS, MS or PhD in EE/CE/CS, or the equivalent in experience with evidence of exceptional ability - 2 or more years of relevant hands-on hardware experience in mixed-signal electronics design - Experience with designing tests platforms (ICT/FCT) and actual testing protocols - Experience with Altium Designer for Schematic & PCB layout design - Working knowledge of embedded system & firmware development - Ability to collaborate and communicate complex technical concepts. - Familiarity with Safety standards such as IEC 61508 / ISO 26262 is highly preferred. - Experience in development of digital and analog interfaces for PC-based test systems, especially (Labview, Matlab, Python). - Fluent in english, ability to communicate with foreign teammates.
