INITIAL RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE: Partner with our Product Management team to define product specs and build prototypes to test hypotheses Lead a team of the backend, front-end, and mobile developers to ensure delivery of a scalable stack with testing frameworks and instrumentation appropriately factored in Architect the platform for scale and handling millions of transactions with low latency and low failure rates Improving our backend infrastructure and database schema to help Licious better utilize operations and customer data (including migrations, optimizing for performance, logging events and actions, improving the reporting and job management system, and improving our internal dashboards) Creating additional internal systems to expose this data to front end applications. Building entirely new applications to extract valuable insights from existing data Improving upon existing front end applications for optimizing the customer journey Improve the operations stack in the company to manage our processing and fulfilment centers NICE TO HAVES: Expertise with Python, JavaScript, and SQL Full-stack experience with one or more web development frameworks (e.g. Angular/React/Ember/etc. on the front end, Django/Rails/Node/etc. on the backend) Knowledge of modern web development concepts (e.g. RESTful services, MVC architecture, Agile development) An understanding of Supply Chain Management Prior experience in building ERP solutions in manufacturing environments Exposure to business theory, business process development, governance processes, management, budgeting, and administrative operations
