The ideal candidate should have at least 5 years of experience in database management and be able to work independently. Key responsibilities include defining a schema for a new product, managing and maintaining databases, planning and executing system wide migrations, creating and optimizing complex queries, ensuring the security and integrity of the database, and providing training and support to team members.
