We are looking for a Data Engineer to join a team responsible for important, business-critical data platforms built on the SQL Server ecosystem.

What You’ll Do

Discovery & System Understanding

• Take time to understand the existing data platform, including architecture, data flows, and dependencies
• Build a clear picture of how data is modeled, processed, and consumed across the organization
• Support the translation of what you learn into clear plans for stabilization and improvement Reliability & Ongoing Support
• Help ensure data pipelines run predictably and consistently (daily and weekly jobs)
• Investigate and resolve data issues in a structured and timely manner and coordinate with on-shore team for hand-offs
• Look for opportunities to reduce repeat issues through thoughtful improvements

Data Engineering & Relational Databases

• Design, develop, and maintain SSIS packages and SQL Server Agent jobs
• Write and optimize SQL, including stored procedures, views, triggers, and functions
• Work confidently with relational data models, understanding how tables, keys, and relationships support reporting and analytics
• Tune performance using indexes, statistics, execution plans, and query design
• Support large datasets and well-used tables with an eye toward scalability and reliability

Agile Delivery & Engineering Practices

• Work within an Agile delivery model, participating in planning and retrospectives
• Use Git for version control and collaborate through structured release processes
• Support smooth promotion of changes across environments (Dev → QA → UAT → Prod)
• Take ownership of work from start to finish, with a focus on quality and follow-through

Collaboration & Communication

• Work directly with business and client stakeholders
• Explain data structures, dependencies, and impacts in clear, accessible language
• Collaborate with analytics, application, and platform teams to align on outcomes

What We’re Looking For

Must-Have

• Strong experience with SQL Server (on-premise)
• Advanced SQL skills, including performance tuning
• Hands-on experience with SSIS
• Solid understanding of relational database concepts and data modeling
• Experience supporting production data systems
• Comfortable learning existing systems and building context before making changes
• Clear communication skills and a sense of ownership

Nice to Have

• Experience with SSAS
• Shell scripting for automation
• Exposure to Microsoft Fabric or Azure Data Platform
• Experience with Azure DevOps, Jira, or similar tools
• Work with Azure Data Factory, Delta Lake, and Lakehouse patterns within Microsoft Fabric

Experience

• Strong .NET Senior Software Engineer Profile
• Must have 5+ years of hands-on development experience with C#.NET, ASP.NET, ADO.NET.
• Must have 3+ years of experience in web application development using HTML, CSS, JavaScript/jQuery
• Must have strong experience in Writing Complex SQL Queries, Stored Procedures, Functions using Oracle / SQL Server.
• Must have experience in designing, developing, and unit testing applications with SDLC compliance
• Experience with AJAX, Crystal Reports, and front-end validations using JavaScript/jQuery.
• ME/MTech (CS) or BE/BTech (CS).

• Structured Query Language (SQL), e.g. SQL/PSM, Transact-SQL queries, writes SQL scripts in SQL Server 2000/2005/ 2012/ 2016, etc.
• 1+ years in Cloud Database services like AWS Dynamo DB / RDS
• Excellent Troubleshooting skills of existing functional implementation to derive leaner solutions and effective performance between applications software, systems software, and installed hardware.
• Database instance maintenance tasks such as DB Integrity Checks, Index Maintenance.
• High availability like clustering, log shipping, mirroring, replication.
• Backup and disaster recovery, Capacity planning and performance monitoring, Physical database structure, RDMS administration roles, instances, profiles, and security connectivity.
• Developing, implementing, maintaining, and following change control and testing processes for modifications to databases.
• Establishing backup and recovery or replication plans to minimize data loss and system downtime.
• Improving data quality through data analysis, monitoring, gap analyses, and working with the teams to provide solutions and resolve errors.
• Maintaining data integrity and security (manage roles and permissions of database users).
• Reviewing the security logs from the SQL Server Error Logs to determine if you had a breach or a violation in one of your policies.
• Ensures optimal database performance and availability.

DB developer 

This position is for Oracle Golden Gate developer and DBA position. The Candidate will implement and support Oracle Golden Gate replication components across many databases. Working closely with many application teams and implementing near real time replications with golden gate. Candidate should provide operational support as well.

Roles and responsibilities :

Configure and build Golden Gate Extracts/replicate for multiple databases.

Configure error handling for restart, logging, production support and status reporting in Golden Gate.

Identify and produce documentation of best practices.

Trouble shooting and performance tuning Golden Gate replications.
