Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Application Production Support Engineer with strong hands-on experience in Internet Banking application support, Middleware technologies, and OpenShift Container Platform (OCP). The candidate will be responsible for ensuring the stability, availability, and performance of critical banking applications in a production environment.

The ideal candidate should have experience in troubleshooting production incidents, performing root cause analysis, monitoring application health, and coordinating with development, infrastructure, database, and business teams to ensure smooth banking operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide L2/L3 production support for Internet Banking applications and ensure high availability of critical banking services.
• Monitor application performance, system health, logs, and alerts to proactively identify and resolve issues.
• Troubleshoot application failures, transaction issues, login/authentication problems, API failures, and other Internet Banking-related incidents.
• Perform middleware administration, monitoring, and troubleshooting across application servers and related middleware components.
• Manage application deployments, pod monitoring, log analysis, and troubleshooting in OpenShift Container Platform (OCP).
• Investigate production incidents, perform root cause analysis (RCA), and implement preventive measures to avoid recurrence.
• Work with middleware, database, network, infrastructure, DevOps, and development teams to resolve complex technical issues.
• Support production releases, deployment validation, application restarts, and post-deployment health checks.
• Handle incident, problem, and change management processes in accordance with defined SLAs.
• Maintain technical documentation, incident reports, SOPs, and knowledge base articles.
• Participate in rotational shifts, weekend support, and on-call support as required.

Mandatory Skills

• Internet Banking Application Support: Hands-on experience supporting Internet Banking applications in a production environment.
• Middleware Support: Practical experience in middleware monitoring, configuration, troubleshooting, and application server operations.
• OpenShift (OCP): Hands-on experience with pod monitoring, logs, deployments, troubleshooting, and basic cluster/application operations.
• Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Experience with Linux/Unix commands and application log analysis.

Ideal Candidate Profile

We are looking for a proactive support engineer who can independently troubleshoot production issues, manage incidents within defined SLAs, and ensure the reliability of Internet Banking services. Candidates must have practical production experience in all three key areas: Internet Banking, Middleware, and OpenShift (OCP).

Important: Candidates with only generic application support experience and no hands-on Internet Banking support experience will not be suitable for this role.

Key Responsibilities:

• Install, configure and operate OpenShift, NVIDIA GPU operator, OpenShift AI, and NIM microservices on 12× RTX PRO 6000 across two servers; single-node and HA control-plane topologies
• Serving configuration and tuning: quantized model deployment (FP8/FP4), replica balancing, batching, KV-cache and context management
• Azure GPU build environments: provisioning, cost control, parity with the on-prem stack via pinned container/model versions; cloud-to-factory migration with parity regression
• GitOps CI/CD, container registry, artifact/model versioning, environment promotion; observability and audit wiring (Splunk, Prometheus/Grafana)

Technical Skills:

• Hands-on GPU inference serving in production: NIM, Triton, vLLM, or TensorRT-LLM — you have sized, deployed, and tuned LLM serving on real GPUs and can talk memory-bandwidth trade-offs
• GitOps fluency (ArgoCD/Flux), infrastructure-as-code, container internals; comfortable in air-gapped/proxy-restricted enterprise networks
• Observability depth: metrics, traces, log pipelines; has built performance test harnesses, not just run them

• Azure or AWS GPU compute operations experience

Strongly preferred

• NVIDIA GPU operator and AI Enterprise stack specifics; KServe; Milvus or pgvector operations; VAST/NFS/S3 storage integration; banking or other regulated-environment delivery

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Drive the design, Project Build, Infrastructure setup, monitoring, measurements, and improvements around the quality of services Provided, Network and Virtual Instances service from OpenStack, VMware VIO, Public and private cloud and DevOps environments.
