SAP APO – PPDS Consultant

We are looking for a skilled SAP APO – PPDS Consultant with at least 6 years of strong experience in Production Planning and Detailed Scheduling (PPDS) using SAP APO.

👨‍💻 Experience Required:

• Minimum 6 years in SAP APO – PPDS

• Reviews design specifications to understand the scope, requirements, and function of the software product.
• Preparation of test data and execution of test cases (including functional, system, regression, performance, API and database layer etc.)
• Identifies appropriate processes, parameters, functions, and data to test and validate; parameters may include general function, the validity of results, accuracy, reliability, and compliance with industry standards.
• Lead and participate in test case reviews with Business, Developers, other team members
• Estimate, prioritize, plan and coordinate testing activities
• Ensure that user expectations are met during the testing process
• Design, develop and execute automation scripts using open source tools
• When a product does not perform within specifications, reporting defects to programmers while identifying and recommending solutions, improvements, and updates.
• Identifies, logs, and recreates error codes, bugs, and defects.
• Draft quality assurance policies and procedures
• Investigate production issues
• Conducts testing to ensure products perform according to product requirements and within established guidelines.

The role involves computer vision tasks including development, customization and training of Convolutional Neural Networks (CNNs); application of ML techniques (SVM, regression, clustering etc. ) and traditional Image Processing (OpenCV etc. ). The role is research focused and would involve going through and implementing existing research papers, deep dive of problem analysis, generating new ideas, automating and optimizing key processes.

Requirements:

• 2 - 4 years of relevant experience in solving complex real-world problems at scale via deep learning, computer vision or AI
• Python, cuDNN, Tensorflow/PyTorch/Keras (or similar Deep Learning frameworks).
• CNNs, RNNs, Transfer learning (for image classification, segmentation, object detection etc).
• Image Processing techniques using OpenCV or other white-box image feature extraction algorithms.
• End to end deployment of deep learning models.

Key Responsibilities

• Responsible for building data and analytical engineering pipelines with standard ELT patterns, implementing data compaction pipelines, data modelling and overseeing overall data quality

• Work with the Office of the CTO as an active member of our architecture guild

• Writing pipelines to consume the data from multiple sources

• Writing a data transformation layer using DBT to transform millions of data into data warehouses.

• Implement Data warehouse entities with common re-usable data model designs with automation and data quality capabilities

• Identify downstream implications of data loads/migration (e.g., data quality, regulatory)

What To Bring

• 5+ years of software development experience, a startup experience is a plus.

• Past experience of working with Airflow and DBT is preferred

• 5+ years of experience working in any backend programming language. 

• Strong first-hand experience with data pipelines and relational databases such as Oracle, Postgres, SQL Server or MySQL

• Experience with DevOps tools (GitHub, Travis CI, and JIRA) and methodologies (Lean, Agile, Scrum, Test Driven Development)

• Experienced with the formulation of ideas; building proof-of-concept (POC) and converting them to production-ready projects

• Experience building and deploying applications on on-premise and AWS or Google Cloud cloud-based infrastructure

• Basic understanding of Kubernetes & docker is a must.

• Experience in data processing (ETL, ELT) and/or cloud-based platforms

• Working proficiency and communication skills in verbal and written English.

                                                       JD – Engineering Manager Role

Responsibilities:

• Designed, developed and deployed cloud-native applications (we use AWS)
• Working on or leading enterprise tech products and worked with enterprise customers
• Mentor & grow / Hire Engineering Managers to lead up these individual units.
• Work closely with Product Management, Business Development and Operations team and enable them by providing scalable and high quality technology solutions at a rapid pace.
• Set up the organisation & processes to enable timely delivery of projects with high quality.
• Set up best practices for development and champion their adoption.
• Well versed in Software Architecture and Design - You should be able to spot flaws in the existing architecture and design. You would help us refactor and re-architecture the code for easier and faster development.
