Job Responsibilities:
1) Issue right and accurate required drawings to sales and purchase departments on time and ensure that all changes/modification in the drawing must be implemented in Machine Shop, Quality Control and Vendor etc. In time to make sure that job does not produce with obsolete drawings.
2) Calculate dimensions and allowances with accurate precision.
3) Compile data and specifications sheets.
4) Revise, update and maintain drawings and layouts to accommodate changes and enhancements.
5) Design high quality, robust, and cost effective CAD product models by preparing routine layouts, detail drawings, assembly using industry, departmental and discipline standards.
6) Read, understand, analyses drawings and develop it from sketches or descriptions developed by engineers, both in 2D and 3D models.
7) Establish, implement, maintain and update records of design process in accordance with sound design practices and ISO requirements and a database for the CAD design documentation.
8) Handle complex designing and drafting assignments under minimal supervision.
9) Organise drawing's library in a structured manner to ensure easy retrieval of drawing.
10) Confer with customer representatives to review schematics and answer questions pertaining to installation of systems.
11) Prepare engineering documents for customer submittal.
12) Proactively seek feedback from leaders to improve work
13) Deliver projects under budgeted time and hours and track your time in time tracking software/spreadsheet.
