Job Requirements:
- Manage and docket Intellectual Property (IP) filings, deadlines, review attorney invoices, and work closely with the company’s Patent Counsel
- Conduct prior art database searches for patentability and freedom to operate analyses and analyze patents, scientific papers, and documents
- Prepare, draft, and file patent applications and draft responses to office actions
- Administer new/renewal IP filings and prepare/coordinate documentation for internal stakeholder review
- Coordinate invention disclosure documents, internal discussions, and provide guidance on a variety of patent and IP-related issues
- Serve as a liaison between inventors, Emerging Technology, and outside counsel
- Provide ongoing guidance to the business teams regarding invention disclosures, prior art searches, inventorship, and IP guidance
- Develop and maintain excellent partnerships with internal and external parties to build efficiencies, successful project deadlines, and best practices for internal IP
