·      A thoroughly experienced OMS resource with preference to Blue Yonder OMS and good exposure in building custom microservices as extension points to OMS possessing good cloud knowledge.

·      Extensive backend development knowledge with core Java/J2EE and Microservice based event driven architecture with a cloud based architecture (preferably AWS)

·      Should be cognizant of key integrations undertaken in eCommerce and associated downstream subsystems which should include but not limited to different Search frameworks, Payment gateways, Product Lifecycle Management Systems, Loyalty platforms, Recommendation engines, Promotion frameworks etc.

·      Recommend someone having a good knowledge of integrations with downstream eCommerce systems like OMS, Store Systems, ERP etc.

·      Any additional knowledge on OMS and Store domains will be additional advantage.

·      Experience in Service Oriented Architecture - Developing/securely exposing/consuming Web Services – RESTful and integrating headless applications.

·      Should be able to understand system end-end, maintain application and troubleshoot issues.

·      Good understanding of Data Structures and Entity models.

·      Should have understanding of building, deploying and maintaining server based as well as serverless applications on cloud, preferably AWS.

·      Expertise in integrating synchronously and asynchronously with third party web services.

·      Good to have concrete knowledge of AWS Lambda functions, API Gateway, AWS.

·      CloudWatch, SQS, SNS, Event bridge, Kinesis, Secret Manager, S3 storage, server architectural models etc.

·      Knowledge on any major eCommerce / OMS platforms will have added advantage.

·      Must have a working knowledge of Production Application Support.

·      Good knowledge of Agile methodology, CI/CD pipelines, code repo and branching strategies preferably with GitHub or Bitbucket.

·      Good knowledge of observability tools like NewRelic , DataDog, Graphana, Splunk etc. with knowledge on configuring new reports, proactive alert settings, monitoring KPIs etc.

·      Should have a fairly good understanding of L3 support processes, roles and responsibilities.

·      Should work closely with counterparts in L1/L2 teams to monitor, analyze and expedite issue resolutions, reduce stereoptypes, automate SoPs or find avenues for the same by being proactive.

Should be flexible to work with overlap with some part of onsite (PST) hours as part of various client meetings and hand offs with Alo client leadership team

Key Responsibilities:

• Create technical designs, independently code, unit test to ensure code quality, and deploy various components of IBM Sterling Commerce OMS.
• Perform database design for custom components.
• Writing code for custom APIs, extending transactions, events, DB extensions etc to complete OMS technical designs.
• Support various phases of testing in an agile delivery framework.
• Apply strong design, development, and troubleshooting skills in work to deliver quality.
• Take initiative to learn new concepts in IBM Sterling OMS technologies on cloud at a rapid pace.
• Foster an environment of team collaboration.

Technical Experience :

• At least 2 years of strong IBM Sterling OMS development experience.
• 2-5 years strong experience using Java/J2EE, XML, XSD, XSL, SOAP, REST Web Service, IBM MQ and latest Java/J2EE concepts
• Experience working in Agile development teams.
• Knowledge of dockers, CI/CD build and deployments pipelines.
• Problem solving and code debugging skills in a large distributed application.
• Eager to learn and develop IBM Sterling Call center UI customizations.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with fluency in English.
• Four-year college or university degree in Computer Science or related field.

What You’ll Do

• Experience working in eCommerce industry managing high volume applications with an experience of 7 yrs or more. 
• Expertise in application development with IBM (Sterling) Order Management Fulfillment Suite with a minimum of 4 to 5 yrs of experience. 
• Implementation Experience in Sterling order management with versions greater than 9.0 is preferred. Experience in XML, XSD, SOAP and REST services. 
• Expertise in at least one application server; Websphere MQ or JBoss or Weblogic.
• Subject matter expertise in building large-scale retail B2C web applications using Supply Chain and Logistics Systems. 
• IBM Sterling Order Management System Configuration Deployment Toolkit (Sterling CDT), Global Inventory Visibility. Caching technologies is a plus. 
• Comprehensive SDLC experience including strong design skills use of UML, patterns. 
• Agile and waterfall implementation principles and practices. 
• Use of version control management such of SVN, CVS, or GIT. 
• Production environment deployment and maintenance. 
• Provide support in troubleshooting / investigations pertaining to the order management systems. 
• Respond quickly to critical requests. 
• Ability to analyze and design data model. Solid hands-on understanding of DB for the Web environment. 
• Performance tuning and optimization for scalability and high availability. 
• Upgrading experience on IBM Sterling Order Management System to 9.3 or higher is a plus.
• Experience working on Omni Channel Implementations with IBM Sterling OMS is a plus. 
• Exposure towards Cassandra is a plus.

• You will also ensure that the organization's implementations meet the scalability and reliability required for eCommerce operation, as well as analyze and optimize database and core commerce functions for maximum performance.

Education

• Bachelor’s / Master’s degree in specific technical fields like computer science, math, statistics preferred; or equivalent practical experience
