About the Role

We are hiring for our client for the role of Java Developer. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in backend development, Java-based microservices architecture, and REST API development. This role involves designing, developing, debugging, and optimizing enterprise-grade applications in a collaborative environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop backend services and microservices using Java
• Design and build REST APIs for enterprise applications
• Participate in application architecture, design, and development activities
• Debug, test, and optimize application performance
• Support deployment, maintenance, and production issue resolution
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable solutions
• Ensure code quality, best practices, and performance optimization

Required Skills

• Strong hands-on experience in Java development

Eligibility Criteria

• Design, develop, test, debug and maintain components of a feature-rich management and orchestration product
• Manage one or more project priorities and deadlines
• The programming languages are mainly Python and Java
• Understand the infrastructure details of public clouds and use DevOps best practices to implement provisioning

You'll Need:

• Strong software design and implementation skills in building infrastructure frameworks.
• Experience building and operating extensible, scalable resilient systems.
• Working knowledge of Java and Python.
• Solid understanding of basic systems operations (disk, network, etc).
• Willingness and ability to learn new languages and concepts.
• 8+ years of experience and a BS/MS degree in Computer Science -or- a related field.

Nice to have:

• Cloud infrastructure systems engineering experience.
• Experience in building control planes.
• Experience building RESTful APIs.
• Experience with containers and cluster managers like Kubernetes.
• Experience in App deployment and config management frameworks such as Ansible, Terraform, Chef, Puppet, etc.

1. 1.5+ Years of experience in .Net, ASP.Net and C#, WCF/API and REST services.
2. Should be able to write clean and good scalable code.
3. Hands on experience with CSS, JavaScript and jQuery
4. Strong knowledge in OOPS concepts.
5. Knowledge of T SQL with SQL server 2008 R2/2012 including Stored Procedures, Triggers & User Defined Functions.
6. Good to have CSS3 and HTML5 knowledge.
7. Good analytical and communication skills are required.
8. Preference will be given to the candidates who can do client interaction.

Job Position: JAVA Software Engineer
Job Location: Bangalore

Experience: 2 to 12 years

Job Responsibilities:
• Responsible for developing Web Applications using J2EE components.
• Responsible for developing standalone applications using Core Java and JDBC.

Desired Qualification: BE / B.Tech / MCA / MSc in Computer Science or IT

Added advantage: Sun Certified Java Programmer (SCJP), Sun Certified Web Component Developer (SCWCD) certification

Desired Skills:

• Strong skills in JAVA programming languages and focus specially on the following areas Servlets, JSP, Web Services, Struts framework, JDBC/JPA/mybatis (ibatis)/Hibernate, Threads, Collections and Design Patterns.
• Strong skills in web technologies HTML 4/5, JQuery, AJAX, Java Script and CSS.
• Thorough understanding of Object Orientation.
• Above average skills in SQL with familiarity in any of the standard RDBMS – MySQL, MSSQL or Oracle.
• Must have good written and oral communication in English language.
• Must be completely hands-on and an individual contributor and a self-starter; must be able to complete assignments (suitable to his/her experience) with minimal assistance.
• Very good at Analytical and Logical skills.
• Solid understanding of the web development lifecycle.
