Head – Sales / Business Development

Objectives of this role

• Represent the company effectively with comprehensive knowledge of our offerings

• Research consumer needs and identify how our solutions address them

• Hire, train, motivate, and advise a team of sales representatives

• Achieve company objectives by planning thoroughly, setting sales goals, analyzing performance data, and making forecasts

• Develop skills continuously for hiring, training, and leading team members, and ensure that they're using effective sales tactics to meet revenue objectives

• Generate leads, and establish and nurture client relationships

Responsibilities

• Create and execute a strategic sales plan that expands our customer base and extends the company's global reach

• Meet with potential clients and grow long-lasting relationships that address their needs

• Recruit sales representatives, set objectives, train and coach them, and monitor their performance 

• Identify knowledge gaps within the team and develop plans for filling them

• Ensure that company quotas are met by holding daily check-ins with sales team to set objectives and monitor progress

• Manage the month-end and year-end close processes

Required skills and qualifications

• 8-10 years of experience in managing sales in a corporate setting

• MBA (Sales) 

• Proven record of success with the entire sales process, from planning to closing and overachieving sales targets

• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills

• Superb leadership ability

• Ability to travel at least 20% of the time

• Strong AI/ML OR Software Developer Profile
• Mandatory (Experience 1) - Must have 3+ YOE in Core Software Developement (SDLC)
• Mandatory (Experience 2) - Must have 2+ years of experience in AI/ML, preferably in conversational AI domain (spped to text, text to speech, speech emotional recognition) or agentic AI systems.
• Mandatory (Experience 3) - Must have hands-on experience in fine-tuning LLMs/SLM, model optimization (quantization, distillation) and RAG

Job Description:

1.Be a hands on problem solver with consultative approach, who can apply Machine Learning & Deep Learning algorithms to solve business challenges

a. Use the knowledge of wide variety of AI/ML techniques and algorithms to find what combinations of these techniques can best solve the problem

b. Improve Model accuracy to deliver greater business impact

c.Estimate business impact due to deployment of model

2.Work with the domain/customer teams to understand business context , data dictionaries and apply relevant Deep Learning solution for the given business challenge

3.Working with tools and scripts for sufficiently pre-processing the data & feature engineering for model development – Python / R / SQL / Cloud data pipelines

4.Design , develop & deploy Deep learning models using Tensorflow / Pytorch 

5.Experience in using Deep learning models with text, speech, image and video data

a.Design & Develop NLP models for Text Classification, Custom Entity Recognition, Relationship extraction, Text Summarization, Topic Modeling, Reasoning over Knowledge Graphs, Semantic Search using NLP tools like Spacy and opensource Tensorflow, Pytorch, etc

b.Design and develop Image recognition & video analysis models using Deep learning algorithms and open source tools like OpenCV

c.Knowledge of State of the art Deep learning algorithms

6.Optimize and tune Deep Learnings model for best possible accuracy

7.Use visualization tools/modules to be able to explore and analyze outcomes & for Model validation eg: using Power BI / Tableau

8.Work with application teams, in deploying models on cloud as a service or on-prem

a.Deployment of models in Test / Control framework for tracking

b.Build CI/CD pipelines for ML model deployment

9.Integrating AI&ML models with other applications using REST APIs and other connector technologies

10.Constantly upskill and update with the latest techniques and best practices. Write white papers and create demonstrable assets to summarize the AIML work and its impact.

· Technology/Subject Matter Expertise

• Sufficient expertise in machine learning, mathematical and statistical sciences
• Use of versioning & Collaborative tools like Git / Github
• Good understanding of landscape of AI solutions – cloud, GPU based compute, data security and privacy, API gateways, microservices based architecture, big data ingestion, storage and processing, CUDA Programming
• Develop prototype level ideas into a solution that can scale to industrial grade strength
• Ability to quantify & estimate the impact of ML models.

Responsibilities

Develop high quality, secure, stable code for use in products and solutions for

customers, making it easier for other developers to maintain, enhance, reuse,

and localize

Work with Product Owner and/or Product Manager/Team to understand and help

refine functional requirements for new products

Develop and outline architecture and relationships between subsystems and

participates in review of those designs

Investigate and, if necessary, prototype technologies and algorithms relating to

the task

Break down a large problem into smaller components and provide a clear

solution for each piece

Ensure new code, feature or software product meets performance goals/metrics

Research external best practices and emerging technologies for possible

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in any Engineering discipline from reputed engineering

college

5 to 7 years of strong programming skills in Web and Cloud Technologies

Should have a very strong foundation in JavaScript, and must have a clear

understanding of basic web fundamentals such as prototype based inheritance,

scopes, Event Loop, Memory Management in JS, etc

Should be good at developing modular front-end applications and is expected to

have the knowledge to create good abstractions that can be reused . Should also

have in-depth understanding of latest ES6 standards such as spread operators,

arrow functions, etc

Should have strong programming skills in Web and Cloud Technologies

Should be strong in OOAD Concepts

Should have a strong hands-on in React, Typescript

Should have Hands-on experience in any of the backend language.

Should understand latest paradigms in Front End Development such as Pub-Sub

Pattern, Redux, RxJS, Service Workers, Client Caching, Lazy Loading, Dynamic

Injection, Bundle Optimisation, etc

Should have very good hands-on knowledge of CSS3 & HTML5

Should have good knowledge of Postman API Platform

Should have experience with Amazon web services – ECS, Lambda, S3, SQS, etc

Should have Hands-on experience of developing RESTful web services and

integrating the same with heterogeneous clients

Should have Hands-on experience with Relational or NoSQL Database’s

Should have a very clear understanding of TDD is expected and should have

good exposure to writing UT's and designing UI components with testability in

mind

Should have Strong Communication and Analytical skills
