Job Summary:

We are seeking a Web Scraping Engineer and Data Extraction Specialist who will play a crucial role in our data acquisition and management processes. The ideal candidate will be proficient in developing and maintaining efficient web crawlers capable of extracting data from large websites and storing it in a database. Strong expertise in Python, web crawling, and data extraction, along with familiarity with popular crawling tools and modules, is essential. Additionally, the candidate should demonstrate the ability to effectively utilize API tools for testing and retrieving data from various sources. Requirements:

>5+ years of IT experience in the development of scalable consumer-facing digital solutions (consumer websites, web applications, mobile sites etc) in HTML, CSS3 and JavaScript framework is required

>Strong understanding of semantic HTML/HTML5, CSS/CSS3.
>Experience in frameworks like Bootstrap, Foundation and CSS preprocessors like SASS and LESS.

This position is responsible for building out and maintaining SaaS Applications. This critical role creates agile software products and a better user experience for customers and allows client to set the standard for an open ecosystem of cutting-edge product offerings by working with C#, .Net, Web APIs, SQL , HTML, Javascript/Typescript, CSS3

Duties and responsibilities

Qualifications

Required qualifications include:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, or equivalent work experience

5+ years’ experience designing and developing SaaS web applications using .Net/.Net Core, C#, Angular

Experience in the full stack from database development through front-end

Experience w/database technologies – SQL, Entity Framework

Experience designing and developing Web application (ASP.NET / ASP.NET MVC) ( 5 years+ )

Experience designing and developing Web APIs (ASP.NET MVC/Core) ( 5 years+ )

Experience designing and developing responsive UI applications

Experience w/front-end technologies – HTML5, SASS/CSS, Angular, Typescript

Experience designing “thick client” applications with AngularJS/Angular ( 3 years+ )

Experience with Unit Testing and Mocking frameworks and concepts

Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies

Experience with GIT

Strong communication skills – written and verbal

As a core member of the Software Development team, you will be responsible for the architecture, coding, development, testing and release of customer applications hosted both on-premise and on-cloud. Candidates with proven experience in both Frontend and Backend Development (predominantly Backend Development) with prior experience in deploying applications on AWS/Azure cloud will be preferred.

You will be leading a small team of developers (not more than 3 at a time) on a given project, and be a client-facing SPOC to work with the client and meet stringent deadlines. You will be responsible for Coding and Development with a code coverage of minimum 90%. You will adhere to coding and security standards and ensure that your delivery is secure and free from any critical, high and medium-rated vulnerabilities.
