UI UX Design Intern

Fideo is building a software orchestration layer to simplify financial operations and treasury management for cross-border B2B businesses. Our solutions will enable small and medium-sized exporters/ importers to manage and improve their global payment collection operations, simplify receivables/ net terms management, and access capital to unlock their full growth potential.

Responsibilities:

• Redesign the entire website.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand user requirements and design intuitive user interfaces for our digital payment platform.
• Create wireframes, prototypes, and user flows to visualize design concepts.
• Conduct user research and usability testing to gather valuable feedback and insights.
• Develop and maintain a consistent and user-friendly design system.
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices to enhance the user experience.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a UI/UX Designer or similar role.
• Proficiency in design tools like Figma, Adobe XD, Sketch, or similar.
• Strong portfolio demonstrating user-centered design solutions.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Bachelor's degree in Design or a related field is a plus.

Main Tasks

• Conceptualizing creative ideas with clients.

Qualification profile

• Proficiency in graphic design software including Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, and other visual design tools.
• Good understanding of content management systems.
• Good understanding of search engine optimization principles.
• Proficient understanding of cross-browser compatibility issues.
• Excellent visual design skills.
• Up-to-date experience with international web protocols, standards, and technologies.
• Creative and open to new ideas.
• Adaptable and willing to learn new techniques.
• Experience with working on Vue.js and/or Node.js would be a plus.
• Knowledge of Figma would be a plus
• Hands-on Experience on Storybook would be a plus

• Design and deliver wireframes, user stories, user journeys, and mockups optimized for a wide range of devices and interfaces
• Identify design problems and devise elegant solutions
• Create user-centered designs by considering market analysis, customer feedback, technical constraints/opportunities and usability findings
• Design the UI architecture, interface, and interaction flows for on-device software applications for a variety of screen sizes and interaction models
• Meeting clients and running workshops to find best solutions for their products
• Translate concepts into user flows, wireframes, mockups and prototypes that lead to intuitive user experiences

Key Requirements

1. Knowledge of Photoshop, Illustrator, Adobe XD, Invision, Sketch, Power point etc.
2. A solid grasp of user-centered design (UCD), planning and conducting user research, user testing, A/B testing, rapid prototyping, heuristic analysis, usability and accessibility concerns
3. Ability to iterate designs and solutions efficiently and intelligently
4. A clear understanding of the importance of user-centered design and design thinking
5. Passionate about resolving user pain points through great design
6. Proficient in design software
7. Knowledge of HTML/CSS; JavaScript is a plus
8. Outstanding written and oral communication skills
9. Creative thinking and logical abilities
10. Self-motivated and ability to work with minimal supervision

1. Optimize the existing UI/UX experience for the web platform. -Develop and conceptualize a comprehensive UI/UX for the product and its modules.
2. Produce high quality UX design solutions through wireframes, visual and graphic designs, flow diagrams, storyboards, site maps, and prototypes.
3. Designing UI elements and tools such as navigation menus, search boxes, tabs, widgets for the end-product user.
4. Work closely with the engineers and the product managers to enhance site usability and create a beautiful and consistent design across modules
5. You will be highly focused on making great digital experiences.

Qualifications:

1. Any Bachelors or Masters preferably in Human Computers Interaction or relevant background (OR) 2+ years of practical knowledge in the field of User Experience and Interaction Design.
2. A design portfolio presenting the design of enterprise applications, intranets and websites for desktops is plus.

• Ability to understand complex business goals, product & technical content, and Interaction Design in order to create engaging & effective experiences for our customers
• Thorough understanding of User Experience Design
• Collaboratively evolve the functionality of digital products along with Business & Technology teams

• Ability to research, create and present product user journey maps, user task flows, interaction models, storyboards
• Can develop new approaches to complex design problems and convey these designs in the form of presentations, prototypes, and design specifications
• Excellent time-management, multi-tasking, and communication skills; and the ability to quickly prioritize tasks
• Must communicate clearly and effectively; strong analytical and oral communication skills; excellent interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities:

• Lead the project to on-time and quality delivery as agreed by the client
• Be the part-time project manager
• Raise and negotiate issues and risks with senior management of the client
• Manage profitability of the project
• As the lead designer, he/she needs to guide team members well and facilitate their learning in the organization
• Stay up-to-date with latest achievements, best practices and trends in design
• Candidate should be willing to travel for on-site project executions for short/long durations in India and abroad
• Candidate should be open to temporary/permanent relocation within Think Designs studios in India

Deliverables:

• Due to his/her role as a Project Manager, a Lead UX Designer will be responsible for ensuring on-time and quality delivery of all deliverables for the project even though he/she may not actually work on all of them. Depending on client requirements, as a Lead designer, he/she will be responsible for delivering all or some of the following:
• Design Strategy based on User Mapping, User Stories, Business Needs, Technology inputs
