Job Overview

The primary role of a candidate will be a RF Engineer. The RF engineer will be a consultant who work collaboratively with the RF product team as well as partners to provide support for all presales solution aspects of the sales cycle.

Job requirements include but are not limited to the following activities: assistance & response to RFI/RFP preparation, opportunity & account planning, relation building with Partners and Product Management teams, demonstrations, joint partner solutions etc.

• Assistance to product teams throughout the sales cycles
• Lead initial solution demonstrations to customers/partners.
• Assist in pre-sales to post-sale transition to ensure smooth implementation and maximum customer satisfaction.

Job description:

• Excellent in customer facing, communication and presentation skills.
• Should have clear understanding of RF, Electromagnetics, RADAR, and communication technologies.
• Good knowledge in KPI parameter analysis , having knowledge in 2G/3G/4G/5G Technology & concepts.
• Should quickly learn Technology/Product/Solution offerings Spectrum monitoring equipment.
• Should be able to provide support to customers on issues raised by them.
• Should be good in writing and quantitative skills, other Microsoft tools like Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.
• High level of energy, enthusiasm, persistence, discipline, and a strong desire to succeed.
• Willingness to do whatever is necessary to win .
• Ability to travel abroad as well as domestically. Should be ready to travel to clients in India regularly for demonstrations, POCs, customer presentations, installations, and commissioning.

Technical Skills

• Preferred technical experience in data collection, RF optimization, Spectrum Monitoring and Management system.
• Electronics and telecommunications engineer with CCNA or equivalent networking knowledge.
• Good understanding of computer hardware technologies and its trends in market.
• Preferred experience up to 2-5 years in presales role.
• Should have better understanding of software languages and to operate the application software.
• Experience with Database, Application integration etc. desirable.
• Should be capable in conducting demos, training, etc.

Position Requirements

• Expert in front-end development using Javascript, CSS, and Java.

• Hands-on experience in Java, J2EE, Hibernate, Springboot.

Main tasks

• Test preparation (test design, creation of test specifications and test cases for regression tests and tests of new and further developments)
• Sprint-accompanying testing in the Scrum team
• Test evaluation/documentation of the test results
• Cypress testing tool hands-on experience for Automation testing
• Further development of existing test automation processes
• Close cooperation with the SOL business unit and the test departments at other locations

Qualification profile

• Completed degree or comparable training with an IT background
• Affinity and many years of experience in systematic testing of software products

Main tasks

• Supervision of the CI/CD process for the automated builds and deployments of web services and web applications as well as desktop tool in the cloud and container environment
• Responsibility of the operations part of a DevOps organization especially for development at LS telcom in the environment of container technology and orchestration, e.g. with Kubernetes
• Installation, operation and monitoring of web applications in cloud data centers for the purpose of development of the test as well as for the operation of an own productive cloud as LS service
• Implementation of installations of the LS system solution especially in the container context
• Introduction, maintenance and improvement of installation solutions for LS development in the desktop and server environment as well as in the cloud and with on-premise Kubernetes
• Maintenance of the system installation documentation and implementation of trainings

Execution of internal software tests and support of involved teams and stakeholders

• Hands on Experience with Azure DevOps.

Qualification profile

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in communications engineering, electrical engineering, physics or comparable qualification
• Experience in software
• Installation and administration of Linux and Windows systems including network and firewalling aspects
• Experience with build and deployment automation with tools like Jenkins, Gradle, Argo or similar as well as system scripting (Bash, Power-Shell, etc.)
• Interest in operation and monitoring of applications in virtualized and containerized environments in cloud and on-premise
• Server environments, especially application, web-and database servers
• Knowledge in VMware/K3D/Rancer is an advantage
• Good spoken and written knowledge of English

• Completed studies or training in the field of Computer science or Software Engineering or comparable qualification
• Knowledge and 3+ years of experience in programming with C# and Frameworks like .NET 4. x and Windows forms as well as WPF
• Legacy knowledge with C++ and MFC are also welcomed
