Key Responsibilities:
DLL Development & Integration: Design, develop, and integrate Dynamic Link Libraries (DLLs) into different test environments and embedded systems.
Collaboration: Work closely with development teams and SBUs to understand requirements and support the integration of DLLs into various applications and environments.
Programming: Write, test, and optimize code in C++, C, and Assembly to support embedded system development and testing activities.
Microcontroller/Microprocessor Support: Work with microprocessors and microcontrollers, supporting both hardware and software integration.
Testing & Debugging: Assist in the setup and execution of tests for embedded systems, utilizing Software in Loop (SIL) and Processor in Loop (PIL) when applicable.
Documentation: Create clear documentation for development, testing, and integration processes.
Continuous Improvement: Stay up to date with new programming techniques, industry standards, and embedded software development best practices.
Qualifications:
Experience: 5-7 years of experience in embedded software development with strong expertise in C++, C, and Assembly.
DLL Development: Proven experience with DLL development and updates using Microsoft Visual Studio or similar development tools.
Microcontroller/Microprocessor Knowledge: Experience working with microcontrollers and microprocessors in embedded environments.
SIL/PIL Knowledge (Preferred): Familiarity with Software in Loop (SIL) and Processor in Loop (PIL) testing methods is a strong advantage.
Debugging & Testing: Expertise in debugging, testing, and troubleshooting embedded software and hardware integration.
Collaboration Skills: Strong team collaboration skills, able to work across different teams and business units.
Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills for effective documentation and reporting.
Preferred Skills:
Familiarity with embedded systems and real-time operating systems (RTOS).
Experience with additional tools like MATLAB/Simulink or similar for testing and simulation.
Knowledge of automotive standards and protocols is a plus.
