About the Role:
As Product Manager for Helium Wars, you will be a key driver in shaping the game's vision, strategy, and roadmap. You will be responsible for the entire product lifecycle, from ideation and development to launch and live operations. You will work closely with the game development team, marketing, and community to deliver a truly exceptional gaming experience that pushes the boundaries of Web3 innovation.
Responsibilities:
- Product Vision & Strategy: Define and champion the product vision, strategy, and roadmap for Helium Wars, ensuring alignment with the company's overall goals and the evolving Web3 gaming landscape.
- Game Economy Design: Collaborate with game designers and economists to design and balance the in-game economy, ensuring it is engaging, sustainable, and rewarding for players.
- DeFi Integration: Lead the integration of DeFi elements into the game, including tokenomics, NFTs, staking, and decentralized governance mechanisms.
- User Research & Community Engagement: Deeply understand the needs and preferences of Web3 gamers through user research, community feedback, and data analysis.
- Feature Prioritization & Backlog Management: Translate user needs and market trends into detailed product specifications and user stories. Prioritize features and manage the product backlog to ensure efficient development.
- Live Operations & Content Updates: Plan and execute live operations strategies, including content updates, events, and community engagement initiatives to maximize player retention and engagement.
- Analytics & Performance Monitoring: Track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure game performance and identify areas for improvement. Analyze player behavior and feedback to optimize the game experience.
- Collaboration & Communication: Foster a collaborative and high-performing environment across all teams involved in the development and operation of Helium Wars.
- Market Research & Competitive Analysis: Stay abreast of the latest trends and innovations in the AAA gaming and Web3 gaming landscape. Analyze competitor offerings to identify opportunities for differentiation and growth.
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience in product management, with a strong focus on AAA game development.
- Deep understanding of the DeFi landscape, including tokenomics, NFTs, and decentralized exchanges.
- Proven track record of successfully launching and managing live games.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
- Passion for gaming and a deep understanding of gamer motivations and behaviors.
- Experience with agile development methodologies.
