Job Details:
Designation: Employment Engagement Manager
Reporting structure: Will be reporting to the Project Manager
Base Location: Pune, Maharashtra
Roles and responsibilities:
1. Develop, strengthen and proactively connect with new employers to increase our youth’s opportunities to secure a sustainable livelihood.
2. Maintain and strengthen current employer engagement activities including employer events, and support the Mentoring Programme and management of the vacancy portal and customer relationship management tool/platform to reflect the needs of our youth and maximize opportunities for employers to engage with our students.
3. Understand the context of youth enrolled in the program in order to inform and identify areas of action and use statistical analysis to improve employer engagement activity.
4. Establish, strengthen, and evaluate effective communication with skilling partners, trainers, mentors, and youth.
5. Working with the Program Head in partnership with central placement cells, and other programs within the organization to establish and evaluate priorities and provision.
6. Be responsible for the effective income generation of the youth above minimum wages.
7. Use expert knowledge, research, creative ideas, and activities to identify new opportunities for collaboration, within industry and across employment sectors, to enhance our delivery of activities to students to support their career planning and development.
8. Undertaking monitoring of progress via regular 1:1 meetings, positive engagement and communication with employers, and tracking the progress of our placed youth.
Eligibility:
● Any Graduate/Post Graduate with 5+ years of experience in the logistics sector, preferably from a corporate sales background.

Role Summary -
We are looking for an HR Manager to support and Lead the HR Department in various aspects of HR functions . As an HR Manager, your primary responsibility is to support the human resources department in various aspects of HR functions. You will play a crucial role in managing employee relations, recruitment, Training and development , performance management, and other HR-related activities. You will work closely with team members to ensure the effective implementation of HR policies and procedures.
Responsibilities:
- Recruitment and Selection: Assist in sourcing, screening, and interviewing candidates for various positions. Coordinate with hiring managers and external recruitment agencies, if required. Conduct reference checks and issue employment contracts.
- Onboarding and Orientation: Facilitate the onboarding process for new hires, including conducting orientation sessions, explaining company policies, and completing necessary paperwork. Ensure a smooth transition for new employees into their roles.
- Employee Relations: Maintain positive employee relations by addressing employee concerns, providing guidance on HR policies, and promoting a healthy work environment. Mediate conflicts and facilitate resolutions.
- Performance Management: Support the performance management process by assisting in the implementation of performance appraisal systems, tracking performance evaluations, and providing feedback to employees and managers.
- HR Administration: Maintain accurate employee records, update HR databases, and generate HR reports as required. Manage employee documentation, such as contracts, leave records, and attendance.
- Training and Development: Assist in identifying training needs and coordinating employee training programs. Collaborate with internal trainers or external vendors to ensure the successful delivery of training sessions.
- Compliance and Policies: Stay up-to-date with employment laws and regulations to ensure HR practices are compliant. Help develop and update HR policies and procedures to align with legal requirements and best practices.
- Benefits Administration: Support the administration of employee benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, and leave management. Respond to employee inquiries regarding benefits and assist in resolving issues.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Proven 5-9 years of experience in an HR role.
- Good Experience in nontech recruitment.
- Knowledge of HR practices, policies, and employment laws.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organizational and time management abilities.
- Proficient in HRIS software and MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Attention to detail and ability to maintain confidentiality.

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Experience in Faculty hiring will be an add on .
- Developing and implementing HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall business strategy

- Developing and monitoring overall HR strategies, systems, tactics, and procedures across the organization

What you need to have:- Prior experience of 10 - 12 yrs in HR domain
- Proven working experience as strategic HR, preferably in start-ups.

- In-depth knowledge of labor law and HR best practices
- Networking through industry contacts, association memberships, trade groups, social media, and employees.
- Owning Requisitions (Hands-on role) End to end delivery (Requisitions, Offers to Follow Up, Onboarding)
- Sourcing the candidates as per requirement from the job portals and field sourcing.
- Developing and tracking goals for the recruiting and hiring process, team.
- Ensuring adherence to the compliances.
- Screening applicants to evaluate if they meet the position requirements.
- Conducting regular follow-up with managers to determine the effectiveness of recruiting -plans and implementation
- Developing a pool of qualified candidates in advance of need
- Researching and recommending new sources for active and passive candidate recruiting

- Hands-on experience in PF, ESI, and Labor laws.
- Experience in compliance management.
- Diplomatic and a proven ability in building up effective relationships.
- Strong communication and influencing skills.
- Be able to onboard 50 to 75 candidates in a week.
- Should be highly motivated and a self-starter at work.
- Should have managed a recruitment team previously.
- Should have potential to lead teams in multiple cities in future.
- Source potential candidates through online channels (e.g. social platforms and professional networks).
- Assess candidate information, including resumes and contact details- Attention to detail is highly required
- Forecast quarterly and annual hiring needs by department
- Foster long-term relationships with past applicants and potential candidates
- Experience in bulk hiring in IT (Technology hiring, Technical Trainers) and Non - IT requirements (mandatorily in to sales, backend profiles)
- Highly proactive and attention to detail attitude is MUST
