Role Overview

We are looking for a Senior Data Quality Engineer who is passionate about building reliable and scalable data platforms. In this role, you will ensure high-quality, trustworthy data across pipelines and analytics systems by designing robust data ingestion frameworks, implementing data quality checks, and optimizing data transformations.

You will work closely with data engineers, analytics teams, and product stakeholders to ensure data accuracy, consistency, and reliability across the organization.

Key Responsibilities

• Cleanse, normalize, and enhance data quality across operational systems and new data sources flowing through the data platform.
• Design, build, monitor, and maintain ETL/ELT pipelines using Python, SQL, and Airflow.
• Develop and optimize data models, tables, and transformations in Snowflake.
• Build and maintain data ingestion workflows, including API integrations, file ingestion, and database connectors.
• Ensure data reliability, integrity, and performance across pipelines.
• Perform comprehensive data profiling to understand data structures, detect anomalies, and resolve inconsistencies.
• Implement data quality validation frameworks and automated checks across pipelines.
• Use data integration and data quality tools such as Deequ, Great Expectations (GX), Splink, Fivetran, Workato, Informatica, etc., to onboard new data sources.
• Troubleshoot pipeline failures and implement data monitoring and alerting mechanisms.
• Collaborate with engineering, analytics, and product teams in an Agile development environment.

Required Technical Skills

Core Technologies

• Strong hands-on experience with SQL
• Python for data transformation and pipeline development

Data Engineering Expertise

• Strong understanding of ETL / ELT pipeline design

• Experience working in Agile environments (Scrum, sprint planning, etc.)

Job Description

      The ideal candidate will possess expertise in Core Java (at least Java 8), Spring framework, JDBC, threading, database management, and cloud platforms such as Azure and GCP. The candidate should also have strong debugging skills, the ability to understand multi-service flow, experience with large data processing, and excellent problem-solving abilities.

JD:

1. Develop, and maintain Java applications using Core Java, Spring framework, JDBC, and threading concepts.
2. Strong understanding of the Spring framework and its various modules.
3. Experience with JDBC for database connectivity and manipulation
4. Utilize database management systems to store and retrieve data efficiently.
5. Proficiency in Core Java8 and thorough understanding of threading concepts and concurrent programming.
6. Experience in in working with relational and nosql databases.
7. Basic understanding of cloud platforms such as Azure and GCP and gain experience on DevOps practices is added advantage.
8. Knowledge of containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes)
9. Perform debugging and troubleshooting of applications using log analysis techniques.
10. Understand multi-service flow and integration between components.
11. Handle large-scale data processing tasks efficiently and effectively.
12. Hands on experience using Spark is an added advantage.
13. Good problem-solving and analytical abilities.
14. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and solve complex technical problems.
15. Knowledge of Agile methodologies such as Scrum or Kanban
16. Stay updated with the latest technologies and industry trends to improve development processes continuously and methodologies.

Position Summary

The Management, Orchestration, Visualization and Analytics team is looking for a technically strong UI/UX Engineer who will help develop and enhance the UI features of Manova products and services. Having a background in Cloud services or Network Management is highly valuable.

Responsibilities

• Design user interfaces by creating wireframes and mockups

• Adopt and advocate practices of modern responsive UI designs

• Develop flows using Javascript

• Develop/ enhance UI screens using HTML5, CSS3, React, Angular (or possibly other comparable Javascript technologies)

• Own both development and test automation for the assigned features

• Develop test automation for UI code using Cypress, Jest, React Testing Libraries or other technologies

• Performance tuning of web application with solid knowledge of isolating and debugging a performance problem

• Implement functional flows on a Micro-frontend architecture

• Ensure smooth pipeline runs based on Docker, Kubernetes

• Keep abreast of new front-end technologies and development practices

• Efficiently communicate/collaborate internally at F5

• Participate in defining new software architectures, products and solutions

• Serve as source of technical expertise to a project team and is a mentor for junior staff members

• Proactively identifying and resolving key technical issues

Qualifications

• 10+ years of significant software development and engineering experience.

• Experience of renovating a legacy application to one based on modern UI principles

• Solid hands-on experience in UI and Javascript technologies such as React/Redux, Angular, Knockout, Backbone, JQuery etc

• Solid experience with HTML5, CSS3, LESS, SASS

• Experience with UI Automation and practices to increase efficiency and accuracy of UI development

• Good familiarity with REST services and data formats such as JSON, XML

• BA/BS in computer science or other engineering disciplines

• Expertise with Continuous Integration and Agile development methodology

• Good communication, presentation skills and ability to work well in a development team

• Strong SW engineering and design skills with an eye for details.

• Passion for learning new technologies, and a track record of doing so.

• Hands-on experience with Vlocity DataRaptor, Vlocity Cards, Vlocity OmniScript, VlocityDX, Vlocity Integration Procedures, Vlocity OM and OM+.
• Certification in a Vlocity supported industry is necessary
• Vlocity CLM is a plus but not required.  
• Hands-on design and development of Lightning Web Components.
• 4+ years of experience in a hands-on technical leadership position
• 3+ years of software development, Salesforce development experience preferred
• 1+ years of Vlocity project experience as Technical Lead
• Vlocity Platform Developer certification
• Vlocity CPQ certification or certification in either Salesforce CPQ or Apttus CPQ
• Vlocity OM certification is highly preferred.

Desired Candidate Profile

1. B.E/ B.Tech / MCA in computer science or a related field
2. 6+ Years of Java/J2EE work experience.
3. Minimum 6 months in Team Lead position.

1. Object-Oriented design, patterns, algorithms, data structures
2. Well knowledge about Spring Hibernate framework.
3. Exposure to React JS / Angular JS.

1. Experience with SQL/No-SQL database technologies – MySQL, Mongo dB, Cassandra, Redis, PostgreSQL, etc.
2. Good working experience in OpenStack/AWS & cloud application development and deployment
3. Experience in Web services (REST or SOAP)

1. End to end web development experience is highly preferred
2. Good understanding of unit testing methodologies.
3. Good analytical and communication skills
