Role Overview

We are seeking a technically strong Java Support Engineer who combines solid development knowledge with a passion for support and operational excellence. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in Java, Spring Boot, and Angular, along with a strong understanding of application engineering concepts, and must be comfortable working in a production support environment handling incidents, troubleshooting, monitoring, and system stability.

Work Location: Hyderabad or Chennai

Key Responsibilities

· Provide L2/L3 production support for enterprise applications.

· Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve application issues within defined SLAs.

· Analyze logs, identify root causes, and implement fixes or workarounds.

· Collaborate with development teams for permanent issue resolution.

· Monitor application health, performance, and availability.

· Support deployments, releases, and environment validations.

· Perform minor code fixes and enhancements when required.

· Document issues, solutions, and support procedures.

· Participate in on-call rotations and handle incident management.

Required Skills & Qualifications

· Strong hands-on experience in Java and Spring Boot.

· Working knowledge of Angular for frontend understanding.

· Good understanding of application architecture, APIs, microservices, and debugging techniques.

· Experience with log analysis tools, monitoring tools, and ticketing systems.

· Knowledge of SQL databases and query troubleshooting.

Strong in Video Editor (Digital Content / Social Media / Lifestyle Brands)

Mandatory (Experience 1):Must have 2+ years of hands-on experience in video editing, working on digital content for social media or digital platforms (reels, posts, ads, event clips, product/lifestyle content).

Mandatory (Experience 2):Must have strong practical skills in Premiere Pro and/or After Effects, capable of turning raw footage into clean, engaging, and brand-consistent videos.

Mandatory (Experience 3):Experience in editing both short-form and long-form content, with attention to flow, timing, clarity, and storytelling across various digital formats

Mandatory (Skill 1):Strong understanding of pacing, sequencing, and narrative construction in videos, with ability to rework and refine edits based on feedback.

Mandatory (Skill 2):Ability to work independently, manage timelines, and consistently deliver high-quality videos in a fast-paced daily content environment.

Mandatory (Portfolio):Must showcase 2-3 video projects or content pieces demonstrating strong storytelling, technical editing skills, and adaptability to different formats/platforms.

• 8+ years of experience in Vertex
• Hands on consulting experience on SAP Indirect Taxes / Taxes on Sales & Purchase
• Must have fundamental knowledge / understanding on Indirect tax regulation and standard within CE, NAM, LATAM
• Must have implementation & support experience on Vertex O series On Demand.
• Mush have knowledge on integration of Vertex with other system like SAP S/4HANA, Ariba, Concur etc
• Experience in Automobile industry preferable.
• Customize Vertex settings to support business-specific tax needs and scenarios.
• Perform regular system checks and updates to maintain tax compliance and accuracy.

Your Role

1. Rigorous thinking-through of product goals, product concept, architecture, flows, use cases, usage conditions/ constraints, etc. (in collaboration with the project team)
2. Translating into interface designs and specifications for technology, and walkthroughs, communications, if any.
3. Early testing with the project team & users and evolving it to a working solution.
4. Collaborating with the technology team to develop a working product/ application.
5. User testing with pilot groups and documentation of usage, and response to the product. Evolving the product and supporting adoption.
