Job responsibilities:
Provide Post-sales technical support and technical expertise to our customers and partners.
Perform hands-on work with customers during post-sales
Perform hands-on tests to validate customer proof-of-concept setups, network designs, and network deployments using new products and feature
Integrate Products into existing management, monitoring, and provisioning frameworks
Create design guidelines and recommend improvements to customers for the networks they support
Provide feedback to product management and engineering
Keep up-to-date on competitive solutions, products, and services
Qualifications
Expert knowledge in the following areas: Ethernet, Layer2 (RSTP/MSTP, VLAN/VXLANs etc.), Layer3 (IP Routing, OSPF, BGP, etc.), and networking management.
Expertise in Advanced Routing Protocols and Technologies
Carrier Class Routers and Technologies
Experience / Knowledge with BGP, RSVP, MPLS, ISIS and/or OSPF
Experience and knowledge of BGP and Internet Routing Policies
Solid understanding of TCP/IP (both IPv4/IPv6)
Extensive knowledge of both Cisco IOS/IOS-XR and JUNOS
Advanced Network Certifications
Ability to script using PERL/Python/Shell a plus
