System Engineer

Backend Developer responsible for managing back-end services and the interchange of data between the server and the users.

Your primary focus will be the development of all server side logic, definition and maintenance of the central database, and ensuring high performance and responsiveness to requests from the front-end.

We are looking to recruit a candidate for a role that will require:

• Create and consume restful APIs
• Design, develop, and maintain internal and external applications
• Build efficient, testable, and reusable modules
• Write high quality, structured application/interface code and documentation

• Define functional and technical requirements for application software to develop skills and knowledge

Requirement

∙ Proficient in Node.JS

∙ 2+ years’ experience designing, querying, and updating databases in MySQL/nosql

Job Description :

Mandatory Skills- Paloalto, F5 LTM, VXLAN, cisco, architecture, any cloud(Azure, AWS)

• 8+ years of Strong Enterprise networking with Routing/Switching configuration/diagnostic experience in Global Network infrastructure design delivery of WAN, LAN, Firewall, and F5.
• Experience with Cisco hardware and OS : Catalyst switches, ISR/ASR routers, ASA              
• Strong practical experience with Palo Alto firewalls is a MUST (VM series, CN series and other DC models)
• Strong understanding of the following Network protocols: BGP, IPSec and IPSec VTI VPN
• Experience and in-depth understanding of TCP/IP packets with ability to analyze captured packets for deep troubleshooting.
• Scripting (Python, Ansible, Tower) experience is a plus
• Work closely with the Network architecture, security and application teams to rollout new designs and perform activities for supporting cloud application migration projects.
• Leverage his/her prior experience with Azure and AWS to implement global connectivity Secure solutions.
• Implement an automated process for cloud network environment eliminating manual and repetitive tasks
• Create and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IAC) using industry standard platforms.
• Implement industry standard cloud network security practices during build activities and maintain it throughout the lifecycle.
• Perform functional testing to verify implementation meet production acceptance standards
• Provide support of cloud network services for complex issues
• AWS-specific skills (Networking: vpc, virtual gateway, Route53, Direct Connect Gateway, transit vpc, transit gateway, lambda, endpoints, load balancers) and (Security: ACM, WAF, Config, CloudWatch, Flow-logs, IAM, ES etc.)
• Security Architecture: Build Cloud Network Architecture to support Encryption of Data at rest and transit
• Other services such as Guardrail, GuardDuty, AWS shield, CloudFront, AWS Control Tower, Inspector 
• Azure-specific skills (Networking: vnet, vnet peering, udr, sdr, expressroute, nsg, load balancers, endpoints.)
• Experience with automated configuration and deployment: Terraform or other Infrastructure as Code (IAC) frameworks
• Experience with distributed version-control systems: git/github

• 1-9 years of overall working experience in the software environment.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in Agile Software Development.
• NET technologies - .NET 5, .NET Core, C#, Web API, Angular, Typescript, Azure and MS SQL.
• Coding and designing skills.
• Knowledge of database, SQL Queries, procedures & functions is must.
• Good knowledge of cloud concepts and CI/CD.
• Ability to assimilate technical and functional solutions.
• Ability to do code review and deliver quality.
• Knowledge of unit testing with mock.
• Cloud experience.
• Experience using TFS/GIT source control.
• Containerization (Docker) plus orchestration (Kubernetes or OpenShift) are good to have.

What you will be doing:

• Participate in network and security initiatives, network designs, project plans, and deployments as well as coordinating technical issues with vendors and internal teams
• Contribute to design, installation, maintenance, vulnerability remediation, and monitoring of network and security systems
• Responsible for expert-level troubleshooting of any problems relating to global issues - participation in security incident management and response.
• Providing support and guidance to Technology teams across network and security technologies.
• Adhere to IT access-management incident response and change control procedures (ITIL)
• Continuous documentation of the IT network infrastructure including technical specifications, design documents, roll-out, and disaster recovery plans

What we are looking for:

A Network Security engineer with a solid comprehensive background in:

• Ability to manage, supervise and delegate multiple tasks
• Strong experience with SIEM and log management
• EDR (Endpoint Detection and Response - especially in Microsoft ATP, Defender or SentinelOne) configuration and management.
• Vendor management; including SOC (Security Operations Centre) providers
• Global Security Incident management support
• Experience in SD-WAN (Meraki) management and troubleshooting
• Knowledge of network security, hardening network equipment, and vulnerability scans
• Experience in Microsoft security and endpoint management tooling such as MCAS and MEM
• Excellent troubleshooting skills. Ability to rapidly identify respond to and resolve issues
• Proven experience in remote access technologies (ZScaler an advantage)
• Excellent communication skills (written and verbal).
• An ability to work under pressure and take ownership of tasks and customer issues.
• Ability to work individually and as part of a global Infrastructure Technology team with regional teams in India, UK and North America.
