Position: AWS Data Engineer

Experience: 5 to 7 Years

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated AWS Data Engineer with 5–7 years of experience in building and optimizing data pipelines, architectures, and data sets. The ideal candidate will have strong experience with AWS services including Glue, Athena, Redshift, Lambda, DMS, RDS, and CloudFormation. You will be responsible for managing the full data lifecycle from ingestion to transformation and storage, ensuring efficiency and performance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and optimize scalable ETL pipelines using AWS Glue, Python/PySpark, and SQL.
• Work extensively with AWS services such as Glue, Athena, Lambda, DMS, RDS, Redshift, CloudFormation, and other serverless technologies.
• Implement and manage data lake and warehouse solutions using AWS Redshift and S3.
• Optimize data models and storage for cost-efficiency and performance.
• Write advanced SQL queries to support complex data analysis and reporting requirements.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand data requirements and translate them into scalable solutions.
• Ensure high data quality and integrity across platforms and processes.
• Implement CI/CD pipelines and best practices for infrastructure as code using CloudFormation or similar tools.

Required Skills & Experience:

• Strong hands-on experience with Python or PySpark for data processing.
• Deep knowledge of AWS Glue, Athena, Lambda, Redshift, RDS, DMS, and CloudFormation.
• Proficiency in writing complex SQL queries and optimizing them for performance.
• Familiarity with serverless architectures and AWS best practices.
• Experience in designing and maintaining robust data architectures and data lakes.
• Ability to troubleshoot and resolve data pipeline issues efficiently.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.

7+ years of experience of Workday HCM configuration across 4+ Workday modules and 5+ deployments

Key responsibilities

• Lead design/requirements workshops
• Highly confident in configuring workday with the ability to utilise Workday Community where necessary
• Highly confident in building accurate estimates for Workday configuration work
• Approve effort estimates of more junior consultants
• High level of understanding of how business utilise HR technology to their advantage

• Manage customer escalations around direct reports work
• Support in building the CloudRock team based in Indian through being an advocate for CloudRock and a leadership figure

Job Description:

• Bookkeeping and accounting in Tally ERP, Xero, QuickBooks, and applicable accounting software
• Responsible for preparation and management of books of accounts, records, and documents for foreign entities
• Preparation and reporting of Monthly/periodical MIS.
• Managing billing, receivables, and collection.
• Liaising with foreign consultants with respect to Bookkeeping, compliances
• Ensure compliance under various laws for payroll and non-payroll compliances.
• Managing Audits of the offshore entities under different statutes (GST/Sales Tax, Companies House)

Desired Candidate Profile:

• Must have good communication skills to deal with foreign clients.

• CA Inter with Industry experience of 3 to 4 years or Fresher CA Candidate.

Rules & Responsibilities:

• Design, implement and maintain all AWS infrastructure and services within a managed service environment
• Should be able to work on 24 X 7 shifts for support of infrastructure.
• Design, Deploy and maintain enterprise class security, network and systems management applications within an AWS environment
• Design and implement availability, scalability, and performance plans for the AWS managed service environment
• Continual re-evaluation of existing stack and infrastructure to maintain optimal performance, availability and security
• Manage the production deployment and deployment automation
• Implement process and quality improvements through task automation
• Institute infrastructure as code, security automation and automation or routine maintenance tasks
• Experience with containerization and orchestration tools like docker, Kubernetes
• Build, Deploy and Manage Kubernetes clusters thru automation

Qualifications:

• Must have Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field and 4+ years of experience in IT
• Experience in designing, implementing, and maintaining all AWS infrastructure and services
• Design and implement availability, scalability, and performance plans for the AWS managed service environment
• Continual re-evaluation of existing stack and infrastructure to maintain optimal performance, availability, and security
• Hands-on technical expertise in Security Architecture, automation, integration, and deployment
• Familiarity with compliance & security standards across the enterprise IT landscape
• Extensive experience with Kubernetes and AWS(IAM, Route53, SSM, S3, EFS, EBS, ELB, Lambda, CloudWatch, CloudTrail, SQS, SNS, RDS, Cloud Formation, DynamoDB)
• Solid understanding of AWS IAM Roles and Policies
• Solid Linux experience with a focus on web (Apache Tomcat/Nginx)
• Experience with automation/configuration management using Terraform\Chef\Ansible or similar.
• Understanding of protocols/technologies like Microservices, HTTP/HTTPS, SSL/TLS, LDAP, JDBC, SQL, HTML
• Experience in managing and working with the offshore teams
