Job Title : IT Risk & Controls Lead – Third Party Risk Management

Mandatory Skills : Third Party Risk Management, IT Risk & Controls, System Development & Deployment Controls, Data Movement Controls, Identity & Access Management (IAM).

Key Requirements :

• Mandatory : Third Party Risk Management experience.
• Strong knowledge of IT Risk & Control frameworks (especially in financial services).
• Expertise in System Development, Data Movement, IAM (Identity & Access Management).
• Familiarity with Non-Financial Risk, compliance, and governance.
• Strong stakeholder management, communication, and analytical skills.
• Tools : MS Excel, SharePoint, Microsoft Teams, Confluence.

Responsibilities :

• Act as a trusted advisor to senior management on IT risk and control matters
• Govern controls across development, data, and access processes
• Ensure compliance with risk frameworks and identify areas for improvement
• Collaborate with Cybersecurity, IT, and Business teams to strengthen controls
• Support audits, regulatory compliance, and risk reporting

Preferred :

• Experience working in global teams and diverse cultural environments
• Knowledge of automation opportunities in control processes

Responsibilities

·    Support and Expand the Investment Performance Calculation and Reporting Applications within Nuveen. 

·    Understand and document business and functional requirements for performance calculation and reporting

Required Skills

·    Candidate must have 7-10 years of experience working with Asset Management firms

·    Candidate must have 3-5 years of experience working on investment performance calculation & reporting projects

·    Candidate must have 3-5 years of experience with projects related to IBOR systems for Asset Management firms supporting all the major asset classes

·    Candidate must be able to query and analyze data using SQL tools

·    Candidate must have excellent oral and written communication skills

·    Candidate must have strong analytical and troubleshooting skills

·    Bachelor’s degree from an accredited four-year university in IT/ Computer Science

Preferred Skills

·    Knowledge of Leveraged Loans asset class

·    Knowledge of FactSet and Eagle Performance

The ideal candidate will excel in building data pipelines, fine-tuning models, and optimizing infrastructure to support scalable AI systems for enterprise applications.

Role & Responsibilities

• Data Pipeline Management: Design and manage pipelines for AI model training, ensuring efficient data ingestion, storage, and transformation for real-time deployment.
• LLM Fine-Tuning & Model Lifecycle: Fine-tune LLMs on domain-specific data, and oversee the model lifecycle using tools like MLFlow and Weights & Biases.
• Scalable Infrastructure: Optimize infrastructure for large-scale data processing and real-time LLM performance, leveraging containerization and orchestration in hybrid/cloud environments.

• AI & NLP Expertise: Familiarity with LLMs (e.g., GPT, BERT) and NLP frameworks like Hugging Face Transformers.
• Cloud & Infrastructure: Strong skills with AWS, Azure, Google Cloud, Docker, and Kubernetes.
• MLOps/LLMOps: Expertise in versioning, CI/CD, and automating AI workflows.
• Collaboration & Communication: Proven ability to work with cross-functional teams and explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• Education: Degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, or related field.
