What You’ll Be Doing

• Obsess over retention: Edit with the single goal of keeping viewers engaged till the very end.
• Master hooks: Understand the nuances of designing openings that stop the scroll and make students lean in.
• Design smooth story flow: Structure videos with seamless pacing, transitions, and narrative clarity.
• Craft short-form edits: Deliver crisp, highly consumable short-form content tailored for today’s attention span.
• Repurpose smartly: Edit and adapt content across formats and platforms (YouTube, Instagram, Shorts, Reels, etc.).
• Full pipeline collaboration: Work daily with the Creative Strategist across scripting, storyboarding, production, and post-production.
• Turn ideas into action: Translate concepts into polished edits that bring MathonGo’s brand voice alive.
• Be systematic yet creative: Balance speed with creativity to ship great work at scale.
• Maintain brand consistency: Ensure every edit reflects MathonGo’s growth-driven storytelling style.

2. Experience: A minimum of three years of experience in creative designing and video editing is essential.

3. Understanding of Design Measurements: The candidate should have a thorough understanding of different sizes and measurements used in designing.

4. Adaptability: A creative designer should be adaptable and able to work on a variety of projects, each with its own unique requirements.

5. Attention to Detail: A keen eye for detail is crucial in design. Small elements can make a big difference in the overall impact of a design.

12. Proficiency in Hindi Literature: Should be proficient in typing Hindi literature. This skill is crucial for creating content that resonates with our Hindi-speaking audience and expands our reach.

• Oversee the editing of all video content, ensuring it aligns with the creative vision and storytelling objectives.
• Manage the editing team, assigning projects, monitoring progress, and ensuring deadlines are met.
• Collaborate with Directors, Producers, and Motion Graphics Designers to create cohesive and engaging narratives.
• Maintain quality control on all output, ensuring that the final products meet the high standards expected by clients and stakeholders.
• Innovate and drive the adoption of new editing technologies and techniques to keep the agency at the forefront of the industry.
