If you’re a skilled storyteller with a keen eye for detail and creativity, we’d love to hear from you. The ideal candidate will have experience in video editing and a solid understanding of non-fiction/factual entertainment films.
Key Responsibilities:
- Video Editing: Edit video footage into high-quality content for various platforms.
- YouTube and Other Socials: Create engaging content for YouTube and other Social Media channels. Organize and execute social media content calendar and plan.
- Collaboration: Work closely with the creative team to align with project goals and vision.
- Brand Consistency: Ensure content adheres to brand guidelines and project specifications.
- Project Management: Manage multiple projects simultaneously and ensure deadlines are met.
- Creative Input: Contribute creative ideas to enhance the final output and overall storytelling.
- Asset Management: Oversee the management and organization of video assets.
Areas of Focus:
- Promos/Trailers: Create promotional content including pitch promos and theatrical trailers. Edit engaging moments to create compelling previews for a wide audience.
- Film Editing: Handle all aspects of the film editing process, including receiving briefs, assembling raw footage, syncing audio, and creating initial rough cuts. Refine the content to ensure a logical flow and smooth narrative.
- YouTube Content: Create and edit long-form and episodic content for YouTube, shaping raw footage into clear, engaging narratives. Manage the full workflow from assembling footage and syncing audio to delivering polished edits optimised for viewer retention.
- Social Media: Produce short-form content such as reels, shorts, teasers, and behind-the-scenes edits. Adapt videos for multiple platforms and aspect ratios, add captions and light graphics, and optimize pacing for reach and engagement while maintaining brand consistency.
Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years of professional video editing experience.
- Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro, Photoshop, Lightroom, and DaVinci Resolve.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Strong attention to detail, creative problem-solving, and ability to deliver quick turnaround.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
- Previous work on YouTube is a must.

Evaluation Process
The evaluation process starts with a short phone conversation.
After that, the candidate will be required to take both a technical and writing test, which will be shared with them after the phone screen.
This will be followed by 1-3 interviews, over Google Meet. We will require candidates to be alone, in a quiet place (with no background noise). They must also have a fast & reliable internet connection. They will be required to take the call on a laptop with a camera, and have their technical test code ready for perusal. We recommend using Google Chrome to join the call, and strongly urge candidates to use headphones/earphones.
