JOB DESCRIPTION

• Lead of IT team must guide & manage dev-ops, cloud system administrators, desktop support analysts and also assist in procure & manage assets.
• Design and develop a scalable IT infrastructure that benefits the organization.
• Take part in IT strategic planning activities that reflect the future vision of the organization.
• Introduce cost-effective best practices related to the needs of the business needs of the organization.
• Research and recommend solutions that circumvent potential technical issues.
• Provide high levels of customer service as it pertains to enterprise infrastructure.
• Review and document key performance metrics and indicators to ensure high performance of IT service delivery systems.
• Take charge of available client databases, networks, storage, servers, directories, and other technology services.
• Collaborate with the network engineer to design infrastructure improvements and changes and to troubleshoot any issues that arise.
• Plan, design, and manage infrastructure technologies that can support complex and heterogeneous corporate data and voice infrastructure.

• Create and document proper installation and configuration procedures.
• Assist in handling software distributions and software updates and patches.

* Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in computer science, information technology, electronics, telecommunications or any related field.

* Minimum 10 years of experience in the above mentioned fields.

You have strong experience supporting cloud environments within the AWS platform.

* You have hands-on experience with cloud platforms, Docker, Kubernetes, Jenkins, Terraform, Artifactory, infrastructure automation, CI/CD pipelines, monitoring, and operational support in enterprise environments.

* You have hands-on experience with infrastructure automation, scripting, and configuration management.

* You understand monitoring, logging, alerting, and incident management practices in cloud operations.

* You have experience working with containers, orchestration platforms, and deployment pipelines.

* You are comfortable supporting Linux and/or Windows server environments in cloud-based ecosystems.

Job Summary :

We are looking for a proactive and skilled DevOps Engineer to join our team and play a key role in building, managing, and scaling infrastructure for high-performance systems. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Kubernetes, Docker, Python scripting, cloud platforms, and DevOps practices around CI/CD, monitoring, and incident response.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, build, and maintain scalable, reliable, and secure infrastructure on cloud platforms such as AWS.

- Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools like Terraform, Cloud Formation, or similar.

- Manage Kubernetes clusters, configure namespaces, services, deployments, and auto scaling. CI/CD & Release Management

- Build and optimize CI/CD pipelines for automated testing, building, and deployment of services.

- Collaborate with developers to ensure smooth and frequent deployments to production.

- Manage versioning and rollback strategies for critical deployments.

- Containerization & Orchestration using Kubernetes.

- Containerize applications using Docker, and manage them using Kubernetes.

- Write automation scripts using Python or Shell for infrastructure tasks, monitoring, and deployment flows.

Job Purpose and Impact

The DevOps Engineer is a key position to strengthen the security automation capabilities which have been identified as a critical area for growth and specialization within Global IT’s scope. As part of the Cyber Intelligence Operation’s DevOps Team, you will be helping shape our automation efforts by building, maintaining and supporting our security infrastructure.

Key Accountabilities

• Collaborate with internal and external partners to understand and evaluate business requirements.
• Implement modern engineering practices to ensure product quality.
• Provide designs, prototypes and implementations incorporating software engineering best practices, tools and monitoring according to industry standards.

Requirements:

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).

- Minimum of four years of proven experience working as a DevOps Engineer or similar role, with a focus on cloud infrastructure and deployment automation.

- Strong expertise in Microsoft Azure services, including but not limited to Azure Virtual Machines, Azure App Service, Azure Storage, Azure Networking, Azure Security, and Azure Monitor.

- Proficiency in infrastructure-as-code (IaC) tools such as Terraform or ARM templates.

- Hands-on experience with containerization and orchestration platforms, preferably Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) or Docker Swarm.

- Solid understanding of CI/CD principles and experience with relevant tools such as Azure DevOps, Jenkins, or GitLab CI.
