KEY RESPONSIBILITES:

Application Development

• Work with Salesforce Tech Lead on requirements gathering/design workshops and define system design and solutions to be implemented on the Salesforce Platform
• Responsible for designing/configuring, developing, testing, training, documenting, and deploying high-quality code and adhering to best practices on the platform
• Design, develop and integrate Salesforce apps and components with back-office systems such as ERP systems using modern web tools and technologies
• Assist in identifying, troubleshooting, and resolving defects encountered during various stages of project delivery, including during deployment and implementation in production environments
• Write well-structured code using Apex, LWC, JavaScript, CSS, and HTML using the appropriate features and capabilities of each framework or language
•  

System Administration

• Provide system administration support for the Salesforce environment, especially related to customized applications, user permissions, security settings, custom objects, and workflow
• Creating and maintaining system interface diagrams, functional designs, and technical specifications documentation
• Review Salesforce Release Notes to have familiarity with new additions and enhancements

This is a full-time role for the locations Bangalore, Hyderabad, Pune, Mumbai & Chennai with flexibility for some remote work as well. As a Salesforce Vlocity Lead, you will be responsible for providing technical leadership, guidance, and advice to development teams. You will build and maintain an effective team environment, ensure quality of deliverables, and provide resource and project management as required.Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical field

6+ years of experience in Salesforce.com with a focus on Vlocity application development and configuration

Experience working as a Technical Lead or Architect for Vlocity and/or Salesforce projects

Excellent understanding of Vlocity OmniScript, DataRaptor, and Card UI Framework

Strong expertise in Salesforce Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Force.com Platform, and other Salesforce products

Experience with Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Component Framework, and Salesforce APIs

Experience with the following technologies: Web Services, XML, JavaScript, JSON, HTML, CSS

Experience in project delivery methodologies such as Agile, Scrum, Waterfall, etc.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams

Demonstrated ability to learn quickly, be a team player, and manage change effectively

Experience with Vlocity Certification is preferred

Roles and Responsibilities

• Design and implement Salesforce integration architectures for data and process integration with other non-SF systems
• Collaborate with Stakeholders and SFDC Architects to understand the integration requirements and involve in development
• Provide technical leadership, setting best practices (e.g., integration and application development, deployment, testing, iterative refinement)
• Seek out ways to utilize SFDC to improve processes and productivity, and make recommendations to support an organization scaling at a rapid pace
• Understand key SFDC architecture concepts and influence design for requirements.
• Support in translations of Functional requirements into detailed technical requirements
• Design and prepare the integrations process flows
• Prepare the technical design for the salesforce application considering all the functional, technical, and integration needs of the application
• Develop software solutions using Salesforce.com API framework, and 3rd part APIs
• Responsible for driving operational excellence by implementing strategies for continuous delivery of Salesforce and any dependent software on the cloud
• Ensure the on-time delivery of enhancements or modifications to ongoing production systems
• Collaborate with Stakeholders and SFDC Architects to understand the implementation requirements and deliver with quality
• Work with technical and business stakeholders to maintain and enhance applications in iterative release cycles
• Remain up to date on the newest Salesforce releases and manage the impact on the business.
• Create and deliver appropriate documentation, training and communication around feature(s) and process changes to the immediate team
• Work closely with other developers in the team, business analysts, QA analysts and project managers.
• Mentor junior developers, handle the team with the individual contributor’s role

Required Competencies: 

• 10-12 years Salesforce experience, predominately with Salesforce Lighting. Must have experience in designing solutions.
• Experience coding with Apex, Java Script, Visual Force and Lightning Components, specifically LWC.
• Must have prior experience managing full life cycle SFDC implementations, while holding down the role of Salesforce Lead.
• Ability to Perform configuration, customization, integration, and support of Salesforce.com
• Understanding of the Salesforce.com data model
• Understanding the release management and software development life cycle
• Should be able to review code of development team members
• Strong communication skills to ask relevant questions in client/dev team meeting etc. & able to work around release related dependencies across projects
• Comfortable in client calls including executive sponsors and stakeholders
• Knowledge of Salesforce recommended best practices around design and development.
• Good to have experience in Release Management tools
• Designing and implementing integration architectures for data and process integration
• Experience with both Salesforce CRM and custom applications built on the Salesforce Platform

• Demonstrate proficiency in build and release management using CI/CD strategies (leveraging tools like Jenkins and DevOps practices), implement Mocha/Chai unit and functional test cases in order to reduce costs while ensuring quality
• Contributes to designing, implementing and documenting the build release process as well as system configuration and deployment characteristics of the applications
• Participates in technical walkthroughs/ code reviews of other team members’ components, test plans and results and help them with gaps
• Collaborate with architect to define implementation processes and quality gates and standards
• Identifies risks and issues, and help monitor them
• Guides the development of reference and resource materials for SFCC
• Mentors SFCC developers in improving their platform knowledge and development skills
• Communicate technical design to the SFCC developers and help/guide them in the implementation
• Participates in Agile sprints and helps developers understand the strengths and limitations of SFCC
